Anyone know what their online stock control is like?

I purchased new door handles for my existing kitchen units a few months back just to spruce it up a bit and they were £9 each in BQ I got them for under £2.50 each on ebay delivered and was well delighted with then
So its always worth a search on ebay.

Good luck everyone on revamping your kitchens

If you're happy with white wall tiles, they can be had for around 6p a tile from the likes of B&Q and other DIY stores. I used tile transfers to break the white up a little, which worked great. Try Topps Tiles or Tile Clearance House for cheap floor tiles. Someone posted a link for a sink earlier on the thread.

For the people who have nominated me for POTM, many thanks. A couple of you have posted your nominations on the February thread. I know this is probably cheeky and asking a lot, but those who posted on the February thread, could you please post your nominations on the March thread instead?

Thank you so much for this, my old B & Q kitchen is falling to bits, alas I can't just replace the doors but need to do the carcases too, but it's still going to work out pretty cheap compared to what I paid first time round and for the savings I've made I can actually add a couple of extra units into the kitchen.

Many thanks for this oh and I'm surprised no one has mentioned quidco, I also went through them for 5% and plan on taking my friends parents with me when I go to get the carcases for 10% OAP discount in true MSE fashion.

I discovered these bargains a couple of weeks ago and ordered mine which is coming 15th March. Ive got all this lot coming http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=388533&highlight=kitchen+doors

dont know if this link thing will work. I will let you know what its like when i get it. What concerns me tho if you click on some of the items and then 'more pics' it shows 3 different shades of doors and i just hope i dont end up with mismatched colours. I know in the colour description it says pine style but i think thats the design, as why have 3 different colours called that name. This is starting to sound confusing so im going to shut up, at least i know what i mean though.

What i dont understand is how come you dont seem to be able to get a 3 piece pan drawer in a 600 size? They are all now 500 or 800. So ive ordered a 600 drawer with door and will cut the door in half.

Does this mean jaxxy should be getting post of the month as it was posted 5 days sooner.

I am also a bit concerned about the different shades in the pics

Thanks OP, I've just ordered 2 draw/door packs, 2 glazed doors and 14 other doors for MIL. OH worls for a kitchen components distributor and can't get them this cheap at trade price! He will just need to get hinges and handles!

MIL will have a revamped kitchen as a late mothers day pressie (delivery 19th April)
  • A million thank you's have revamped my kitchen for under £30 ...had to do a bit of creative thinking and use top doors for bottom in one place as not the right size doors with drawers but there you go for that price I cant moan

    Voted for you too

If anyone in the London area is interested, the big B&Q next to Lakeside Shopping centre has a fair amount of Cherry style doors available off the shelf.

They were priced between £4.00 for the drawer fronts and £7.00 for the larger door sizes. The other three styles available off the shelf were not reduced at all, unfortunately. The normal price for these items is up to £30 each. the shelves were reasonably full last night and the staff assured me they had plent more in stock.

I went to B&Q in Cricklewood. They didn't have any sales in store but I did see the cherry & the pine effect in different colours. The cherry one looked really cheap & nasty, especially the glass doors! The pine effect one is very nice & looks much better quality. The glass doors have a beautiful pattern on them.
