Too Dense

This forum is impossible for me to read. I can't read off VDU's very well and there is way way WAY too much information on screen at once. There are also far too many forums and subforums. Half of them don't need to exist. I have never seen such bad site design as this, you haven't considered how user friendly this is at all. Please rectify this.

in your user control panel there is a link down the side for "Edit Options"

under there you can turn off images , avatars and other settings

there is a option further down that same page to change the "skin" of the forum

see if a few tweaks make it easier to read , cutting down on the displayed images may help you

I have ADD and my eyesight isn't very good. It's extremely difficult to read dense forums. It has nothing whatsoever to do with avatars and everything to do with the sheer amount of information on screen: margins filled with nonsense, far too many categories to navigate.

None of those options cover the problems with the density of on screen information, nor do they streamline the number of forums/subforums. There are simply too many.

If this forum doesn't suit you I am sure there are others you can try, it seems to be fine for most people I can't see them changing it and dropping forums etc is unlikely to happen as people seem to like them.

I agree, there are far far to many sub forums, and many are in places you would never think to look.

And if you DARE accidentally post in the 'wrong' place you get slaughtered. (I'm not talking about polite Mods, but about abusive 'oldies' who like to put you in your place)

I think the fat needs trimmed, it needs streamlined to become more user friendly.

The attitude of people on this site is disgraceful as well. Slaughtered is the right word. Even on this thread the intolerance shines through. I have genuine issues, i'm not lazy, I struggle to read this site. What's the response? "well it's fine for me!"

I dont doubt you have genuine issues, im not disputing that and no 1 said you were lazy at all.

Im sure you cant be the only 1 with ADD who uses the forum, maybe they have found a solution.
