Well I suppose at least she is working, but she walked out of a job because she didn't like it and now she's going to do the same again.
Perhaps I'm just in a bad mood tonight but we all have days we hate our job!
i think ive paid enough taxes in my time to be allowed to be picky now. theres so many shoddy companys, and Im old enough to be allowed to be choosy, surely? You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

I fail to see how you could possibly describe a lone parent, who has made a career mistake, BUT is in employment a "serial job quitter state scrounger".January GC: £64.81/£80.00
February GC: £24.60£80.000 -

Pray do tell us how old you are and exactly how much you have paid in taxes and how many years benefits you think that entitles you to.
Don't forget when you are working it out to deduct and amount for use of among other things:- NHS including maternity services
- Schooling for your son
- Your future old age pension (you must be close to it now having paid taxes for so long)
~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

How much you've paid in taxes is irrelevant, its not like you paying into a saving pot for you to claim on later.
The fact is if you voluntarily give up employment you will be sanctioned if you try to claim JSA.
So, again, surely the best bet is to stay where you are and look for somewhere better?0 -
You don't need to ''officially resign'',
merely tell your boss/employer that you don't wish to keep working there as you feel unable to continue due to private personal reasons.
And so ask them to ''terminate your contract of employment''.
That way your aren't being sacked for doing anything wrong, nor are you officially resigning,
the employer is merely saying that they 'no longer require your services, and so are not continuing to offer you future work'.
Its basically the equivalent of them making you redundant, but not paying you any redundancy money.

No, youre not allowed to be choosy. You havent paid enough taxes, too many shoddy companies, also too many irresponsible ignorant employess who walk out on a whim. Irresponsibility doesnt even get near it. It doesnt bother you you are letting your family down, or your workmates who have to cover you cost youve decided to 'do one'.

You only get 1 life, and spend the majority of it doing your job.
And so if you chose to waste your life doing crappy dirty smelly jobs that you hated the tasks invloved in doing them,
then you are a very misfortunate individual.
You have my sincere pity.0 -

Doing a job doesnt mean that you enjoy it...it means that you are paying your way to support yourself and your family. Surely a better way of life?
Even if you dont like your job, it pays and is a lot better than expecting others to compensate you through benefits.0 -

Nowhere in my post did I say I hated the dirty smelly jobs now did I? It was a means to an end I just got on with it so I could pay the mortgage, no hand outs from the government in my day pet........You dont know youre born these days.........
Well, well, you know what you can do with your pity mate, stick it where the sun doesnt shine, this was in my earlier life, for about 7 years of it then I studied in night school, in adult college, for the sake of looking after and feeding my kids. Now my kids are reaping the rewards of my work ethic, both my kids are paying top rate tax, own their own homes becuase they learned from my work ethic, they wont be like you or your kind,
I never looked on it as a waste, i was providing for my family, a concept which you and the op fail to grasp, its you and your kind that deserve the pity, but you wont get any from me, you'll get all you deserve in this life, I'm probably glad I wont be around you to witness it.
I cant believe that Toontron has 'thanked' this To ss ers post. The world has gone mad.............
People should take responsibility for themselves - see my signature.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
