Some fantastic reductions in our local loads of present tags all 10p, marmite sets, tree decs all very cheap. Ribbon rolls- 20p, gift bags packs of 4 20p lots of wrapping also.
They also had all calandars reduced heavily, 30p for the long thin official ones, fantastic value :)
  • 70g mini Cornish Brie are priced at 10p on the SEL at the moment, but having taken a few to the till, they were promptly taken off me without explanation. Not reduced, not out of date, just labelled as 10p.

Someone else might have more luck!

Wowser - went back to my local tonight and they have stripped all the xmas stuff out of the shop. Nothing left and even all of the shelves were taken down.

The Xmas nuts and dates (the ones that had been next to the clementines and satsumas) were reduced to 10p. After Xmas they moved them in my local store (Saltburn) next to the chilli and herb cabinet. Oh, and there are jars of sweet mincemeat at the end of the soup aisle reduced to 10p.
  • Went to my local today. Lots of children's dressing up reduced. Gruffalo suits were down to £8.50 and there were loads there. Also had donkey outfits, ninja turtles, monsters inc, Iron man, Captain America; all half price.
    Marmite cheese knife set £2
Little boxes of trivia cards 30p
    Lego friends pencil boxes 80p
    Kids crackers 45p
    Few decorations etc left
sales assistants were starting to clear stock off shelves though. Had to be quick!

wasn't going to bother going to sains but sooo glad I did!

Mandarin Spa gift set loads on shelf with a price still of £10 on SEL so no-one buying I suppose. Thought I'd pop to customer services to check and the lad scanned the box and OMG!

They were £1.50. I double checked and yes £1.50, so I scooted back and put 4 in my trolley.

They are in a cream, gold and brown box with a corner flash of "Win a dream spa holiday to Bali" in the corner.

    barcode 5 035267 017978

    They contain 6 items
    Honeymilk Dream nourishing hand cream
    Honeymilk Dream softening bath milk
    Honeymilk Dream moisturising body lotion
    Honeymilk Dream nourishing miracle oil
    Honeymilk Dream smoothing shower scrub
    Honeymilk Dream conditioning shower cream

    again wow!
so go go go. Also found a lindt gold teddy bear on the shelf alone and this scanned for 10p! Full size not a mini one.

Quite a good selection available in my local Sainsburys this morning - 3m and 4m holographic rolls of paper (some plain designs that could be used for birthdays too) all priced at 25p (was £2.50)

Matching tags pack of 8 are 10p each (was £1.00)

cardboard bottle 'drums' 30p (was £3) tartan & another design - possibly snowflake. I like them because they're more sturdy than a bag when giving a bottle of wine.
