Today I bought:
Crackers that were reduced from £15 - £4.50
A tea cup and tea gift set that was reduced from £10-£3. I will use the tea then maybe fill the cup with goodies as a pressy next Christmas. Various other gift sets had around 70% off.
A set with 4 rolls of gift wrap and bows that had been £5.00 and was now £1.25. Two of the rolls were not Christmassy and I will use them throughout the year.
There was a mountain of short dated cheese. I bought a set of cheese, chutney and oatcakes in a nice basket that I think was around £1.75. There were sets with alcohol that looked to be good buys, but could be reduced again if they are going to be shifted before their BB date.
There was a lot of well priced hairdriers/straighteners. tongs etc.
I'm not sure I can afford much more saving money!0 -
Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere. I just got back from Sainsburys and they had reduced a lot of the lego gift sets. I got a Lego Yoda mini figure clock for £7.50. Lego stationery carousel for £6. Lego Friends reading lights (clip them onto a book) £4.50. Lego Friends key rings (a mini block that you press and it lights up) £2.40. Lego Friends note book £2.10, Lego Friends Stationery set £3.00 and Star wars pens £4.50.
They were on the end of an aisle near the tea and coffee so worth wandering around the store.0 -

Not as good but at least it adds to the APG“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I have a feeling that any remaining Christmas stock currently at 70% off will go to 90% off on Monday. This has been the case for the last two years. Unfortunately in my local store there is nothing left worth buying.0
