Popped into Castle Vale store around 3pm this afternoon much to the disgust of my children.
Managed to get Star Wars lego watches £4.80 each, lego Father Christmas key ring things for just over £2, lego friends pencil tins/journals/pencil sets for less than £3 each, a couple of Mandara Spa sets that an assistant was about to put back on the shelf for £4.50 each, some choc Xmas tree decs 60p a pack, some wrapping paper that could be used for Birthday presents 75p, Christmas cards 90p for 30, Lindt caramels £1.30 a box.
I then went to get petrol and there were more chocolates reduced in there (Quality Street purple ones 19p, choc coins ideal for party bags as the date was June I think). Worth checking out the petrol stations as well as the store.0 -

Also, festive mini chocolates biscuits and gingerbred men boxes by mcvities were 30p a box (feb dated) but kids will polish them off long before.0

rolls of xmas paper 60p
1/2 moon Stilton £10 -
Acocks Green Sainsburys had loads of Christmas reduced stock this morning. Lots of gift stuff by the door (lego watches, Mandora spa etc etc) and stacks of cakes, mince pies, yule logs by the bakery section. Worth walking up and down the aisles as there was lots on the aisle ends. On my second walk around the store I found a large Gruffalo soft toy for £7.50 normally £30ish.
Solihull also had lots of Hello Kitty bed warmers/money boxes and small boxes of maltesers which have already been mentioned (30p). Again worth walking up and down as things were dotted at aisle ends and in hidden places.0 -

Still a load of Christmas cakes and puds at 70% off - not worth it IMO. Also packs of Basics mince pies (18s) for just 25p, but again a complete waste of calories. SELs for cut price Maltesters and Monstrels (no stock left). Tiny Lindt teddy bears for 15p each; Thornton's Classic Mint Collection (106g) [STRIKE]£1,[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]75p[/STRIKE], 45p. At that price I caved in and bought several. I don't even like them, have just stuffed them in my glass sweetie bowl to bribe any errant visiting child with.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Went to two stores in Belfast yesterday (one was a huge store) and no Lego Friends Pet Salons to be seen. Gutted! There were only small boxes of LF being sold, I was SURE the big store would've had them"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter" ~ E.E.Cummings :rotfl:0

All Xmas pet treats & toys are reduced at Sainsbury's. Should be Nationwide as I've seen it in two stores.

Plus lots more I can't remember!!
Also for anyone with coeliac disease, most of the Sainsbury's gluten free xmas range is now 75% off.
Gluten Free Mince pies are now reduced to 65p for a pack of 4,
Individual choc santas now 35p.
Lots more Gluten Free food will be reduced to clear nationaly; muffins, Iced fruit cake slices, Net of assorted choc bars etc.
Nothing very healthy, but just thought I'd share incase anyone wants to buy some cheap treats!"I expect to pass through this world but once.
