I have a feeling that any remaining Christmas stock currently at 70% off will go to 90% off on Monday. This has been the case for the last two years. Unfortunately in my local store there is nothing left worth buying. :(

Same in my store, not a single Xmas chocolate or gift to be found......only saw a handful of wrapping paper and a couple of decorations.......but this year they had a lot less then last year.
  • Items heavily reduced in my sainsburys although there isn't a lot left. I bought the following:

Mandara spa gift sets containing 50ml body cream, shower gel, bath milk, showers rub and body polisher £1.00

Tea light hamper containing 4 tea light holders spelling NOËL, 227g Costa Rica fairtrade coffee, 200g Belgian chocolates & 100g cognac laced Christmas pudding. The chocolates are bb 31/01/2014, coffee August 2014 and Christmas pudding March 2015. Cost £2.00 the coffee alone is worth more than this.

    Good luck.

Quite a few things left at my largish local - most things 80%-ish off - some great little bargains - especially for younger girls - girly nail varnish sets/smelly sets. Lego pencil cases etc. Just went on today as staff were all looking.

£3 large gift bags now 30p
Lego desk tidy was £10 now £2
    Star wars pens £1
    Jar rubarb and custards 70p
Starbucks mug and coffee set £2 down from £10
    Gift tags 10p
rolls 0f plain xmas paper 25p and pack of bows and ribbon 25p (great for Birthday present wrapping)
Ice cream mug with fudge 70p

Only problem now is to get back into the loft again to put some away for next year.

In addition to items posted above, i saw a

Nordic soup bowl with pulses and seasoning set, £1
    Nordic biscuit barrel, £2
Christmas hamper (honey, coffee, biscuits, balsamic vinegar, what looked like a ceramic tealight holder, and, i think, crackers), £3.50
    Merry Christmas bunting 40p
    Christmas napkins, some @30p, 40p & 80p
Christmas tablecloth (to match the 80p napkins) £1.50
Tree toppers, either dove or snowflake, 90p
boxes of 30 square cards (3 different designs), 30p a box

in our Sainsburys, mixed in with all the Clearance items, there were 3 different types of baking sets - rolling pins, spatulas, whisk etc. Two of them had an SEL of 12.50 and the other had nothing. I took one of them to the till for a price check and it came out at £15 - so not Clearance then.

I saw the baking sets too strange as they were 70% off yesterday but have gone back to full price today
