today I found jordan's super fruity grenola reduced to £1.10 was £4 odd. Old size only reduced. They are 750 grams. New size is 600 grams. Do check the size as packaging is exactly the same.

The alpen peeps are getting for 70p is reduced to £1.40 in my local
Figs are also more expensive @ £1.32!

    currants are down to 5p.

Where do you find these bargains? on the shelves where they are normally or in a clearance aisle? and are they marked as the cheap price or only known when you scan it?

    thanks!

In my store i usually find them in the isle where the item usually is located and the SEL is marked with the reduced price. In my local store the reduced SELs are red.

I never find any of these bargains. I wonder if it's because my local is one of the massive stores. Are people finding these in the smaller stores?

No, my local is huge - not as big as Colney, but still a superstore.

But you have to look hard.

I thought the dried apple would be like those leathery rings - but they're chunks & because they've been pre-sweetened, they are moist & soft.

I thought the same, and at first thought I would save them for baking as they are too sweet. They are strangely addictive though :o.

My 2 local stores are small stores and are great for the bargains, there is a huge store near me and i never seem to find anything in it.
