Not a lot in the way of big bargains when I visited this afternoon, although I looked hard, esp for the coffee. Got some matzo meal for 10p (exp Jan 14), a handy alternative to breadcrumbs.
Also bought a 24cm non-stick aluminium stockpot half price for £8.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Just back from my local store and they had loads of bargains today. Although I was only in on Friday, the offers had changed.
Also managed to use £30.00 of Double Up Nectar points (see separate thread) £20 on Frozen Foods and £10 on TU.
Girl's School Cardigans, specifically Navy Blue (perfect for my GD). Half price, so £1.50 each for Age 5 and £2.25 each for age 6. So picked up 2 of each size = £7.50
Baby dresses also half price, assume last seasons styles, but who cares. £2.50 each. Lovely half price hooded zip-up for baby GD as well, for £4.00 and a pair of Leggings for £1.20 = £7.70
Used my Double Nectar points to get £10.00 off so all that for £5.20 in cash. Full total price would have been £30.50p.
Loads of Frozen Food offers, predominately sausages, large bags for £1.25 instead of £2.50. Loads of Auntie Bessie items down to 50p and £1.00.
More coffee, see my post yesterday. Boxes of JS Individual Coffee Bags £1.00 instead of £2.40. Again these were not short dated, so must be repackaging.
Bargain of the day 500gm bags of JS Basics Currants for 10p, no reduction label on shelf, just showing as 10p. I use loads of dried fruit, so stocked up.
All in all a good shop. Thanks Mr S.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0 -
I got some of the 10p currants on Friday - long sell by (into 2014). Saving mine for chutney making in the autumn.Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!
