Lots of bits in the children's lunch/picnic ware section at 50% or 70% off. I got a miss piggy and a Kermit aluminium water bottle, was £4.50 now 70% off so £1.35. Also saw aluminium star wars bottles 70% off, miss piggy lunch bags now £2.70 and owl range lunch box 50% off (now £1.50 I think) as well as other things I can't remember.

As well as some other deals, Sainsburys have some lovely wooden play and grow toys, suitable for around a year at half price. Available on click and collect if not in store.

Again, I think you need to be lucky with your store, because they definitely weren't in mine when I popped in yesterday! In fact, the heyday of baking bargains is now over IMO.

  • I went in to buy an Indian meal banquet box for a tenner after work yesterday but took advantage of another offer instead.

Buy 4 main meals (contain curry & rice) usually £3.50 each
    Buy 2 sides (pack contain bagi's, pakora's etc)Usually £1.99 each.

Meal deal means it all cost a tenner (+ the cost of a nan bread)

The good portion size meant there was more than enough for me, the wife and 3 kids. :D
