Happy Birthday LW from me and pup x

I have today off wahoo!! Going to have a bubble bath, get ready, blitz the house, then its off to spend the day with my gran, ahead of her birthday lunch on Sunday. Amazingly the sun is shining and I am thinking we can go into Henley for the afternoon.

Dinner will be something, not sure, thinking of doing chicken breast with garlic mushrooms for OH, and something WW appropriate for me.

Weather grey and wet still. My bonfire is soooooooo wet. It will be a challenge! Need to remember to put doggy bag curry into freezer as off to edinburgh this weekend but now have to drag my weary self off to work.

slept on the sofa again last night, we really need to sort out a rota if his snoring going to stay as bad.

had a cooked breakfast this morning , eggs, mushrooms and sausage - it was lovely
house is tidy , i have cleaned the fridge inside and out this morning , ready for the shopping later, think ill go to l!dl and then get the rest from @sda

Morning

Brighter here today, hopefully wont get wet on ride to/from work. SO glad its Friday, been a busy week. This evening I will take DD to her BF and then go to Ald! for weekly shop. Saw article in Mail Online that says L!dl and Ald! mayo (and other products) have been voted better than leading brands.
OS DW done, washing out but will get in before I go to work as rain threatened for later, at least it will have had a blow and be fresher than if just on airer. Didnt do ironing last night so must do later. DD will have dinner at her BF so will be something with pasta for me and DS. Downstairs vacuumed and dusted.

Just found out that on top of DH job being under review (will know in a month whether he still has a job) that we are going to have to move as have been given notice on our house. At least we have 3 months notice and do own a house elsewhere so wont be homeless, so cant complain too much, its just bad timing.

Thoughts to all esp poorly pets. Happy birthday LW.

Morning (just) everyone.

Naff all going on here as I was up with DS who has ear infection, he was very uncomfortable despite the pain relief and wouldn't tolerate hot water bottle next to it. So I cuddled him and cupped my hands over his ear to try and warm it.
He says he feels better today, Dr didn't give any antibiotics so cross your fingers he doesn't have a second night of pain.

No idea what's for tea yet :o

Morning everyone

Hopefully it will still be morning by the time I post. Dog walked this morning in sunshine, but think its meant to rain later. Was out for 11/2 hours, met up with his woofer friends so he had a good run. We have booked out annual holiday, going back to Majorca just dh and I this year as ds2 is going to eurodisney with his sister(my DD). dog has been booked in with his carer who had him last year when he didnt want to come home.

os today wm on and hung out (now sat watching the clouds). need to mop floors and sort out filing etc. dh has said that he will cook dinner which will be chicken stirfry with noodles. no doubt I will end up cleaning up his mess in the kitchen again afterwards. He does love to cook but makes so much mess.

BB - glad your friend brought your money round.
LW - happy birthday from me and Buttons.
Uolypool - hope woofer is recovering ok
Butterflybrain - hope your rabbit is recovering too.
Jackie o - hope the antibiotics are starting to work and the pain is easing.
PP - Hope you manage to rest and feel a little better.
Bitsy - When mine were little I used to warm a flannel either on the radiator or hold on side of kettle when it had boiled for a few minutes and rest that against their ear, seemed to help a little.
