My plans for today have changed as DS2 is off school having been up most of the night vomiting :( It is at times like these that you wonder why a high sleeper bed was so appealing :(:(

I was meant to be working but have bumped my gardening client until tomorrow. DS2 has just (just) eaten an apple and had some water. Will wait to see whether this stays down before venturing out to get DSis a birthday gift (this was meant to be happening tomorrow, my only other free day this week and it's her birthday this weekend so a bit lastminute)

I have however made some choc chip cookies today - 2nd batch from the cookie dough I made up yesterday (kept in fridge overnight). As the oven was on, in true Florenceem stylie, I also made 12 banana and choc chip muffins. The receipe was from an U$borne Kids Cookbook and was meant to be banana and fudge, but I didn't have any fudge in so I improvised ;)

Had to test one of the muffins as it felt to the floor whilst I was getting them out of the tin (I don't use cases just grease the tin). Luckily I washed the floor yesterday! Very nice it was too, and it counted as breakfast with my cup of tea :p I have kept 2 others for DS1 and DD for afterschool and frozen the other 9. Florenceem would be very proud of me, but think she has left us for the June thread :(

Lord knows what we are having for tea tonight. Think I will do a chicken season and shake, so I will get some veg whilst I'm out, and also some milk. That should (hopefully) mean I can declare May's GC later today as I won't be shopping tomorrow.

Sorry for the ramble, have a good day everyone.

Back from my unsuccessful shopping trip. Nothing suitable for my DSis but on the plus side, no more vomit from DS2. Every cloud....

Popped into M&$ and spent £3.94 on reduced veg for tea tonight, milk and a bottle of lucozade for DS2 to help his poorly tummy.

Declaring for May at £471.10 which is £21.10 over :( I plan to stick with a budget of £450 for June.

    See you all over there!
