  • Hey,

Hope you're all feeling better? I've not been on for a while!

The seperate account sounds like a good idea. We have a seperate acc that all the dd's for rent, bills etc come out of and I also transfer in the grocery money each month. That way, after the dd's come out on the 1st I know that whatever is left is the grocery money for the month and can see it running out and cut back more if we need to? Its not much extra hassle once its set up and worth it in my opinion. Once we are in a better position I plan to get a cashback card and use this for the groceries/fuel then pay it off immediately but that is way off yet.

I'm sure there is an account that pays you every month if you pay in over a certain amount but can't remember which one not helpful I know! :D
