Awww thanks squidge.
Interesting conversation with DH last night
Me: guess what
Him: What?
Me: another of our friends is pregnant
Him: it should be us
Me: really?
Him: yeah, the first announcement made me jealous (we've found out 2 of our friends are pregnant this week)
Me: ok
Him: shall we talk about money and dates this weekend?
Me: ok (nonchalantly, while inside I'm jumping up and down with a big grin on my face!!!)
I also had an email to invite me for an interview for a clinical diploma which I need to progress with work if I want to progress. It's on tuesday which unfortunately clashes with a meeting I had with one of the new surgeries but I'm hoping that can re-arrange.

I know!!! Although, typically I'm now getting cold feet cos I'm over thinking it :rotfl:
The thing that did it for us was those 2 pregnancy announcements this week. So what you need to do is get 2 of your friends to get pregnant and then in 13 weeks time, when they announce it, bingo!!!!!! :T or :grouphug: but not so much of threesome!!!!!
And after another chat today (having a coffee in sainsburys - shhhh don't tell my snowball diary!), we have decided to plug the extra money to raise the £4k we need to substitute SMP into a savings account. Then it's just up to us to decide when we're ready to do the deed as it were. Scary times.
Anyone know of the highest rate savings accounts at the mo?! Shall toddle off to research.........Debt free in

:rotfl:Brilliant plan! Funny you should say that actually as we just found out recently that DH's brother is expecting and also two of our very good friends. Sometimes it seems the whole world isAll DH had to say on the subject was "that's nice for them" (whilst shooting a pointed look in my direction :rotfl:)
Not sure about savings accounts i'm afraid (unfortunately I only do debt) but hopefully it won't seem so hard to save £4k knowing what a lovely thing the money is for

oh I don't know about the saving. I hope not but we've got to get through DS's 2nd birthday, christmas and DHs 30th during that time.

There was one that Martin suggests from santander which offered 3.2% which looked to be the best. I'll look into it again at the end of the month when I have something to put in it!
