Well, If anyone is prepared to do a little of their own investigation look at, for example, the reviews on Amazon for Hama PC Headset "hs-10 Camouflage"
Remember that some manufacturers produce a number of different brands.
Your search "Hama PC Headset HS10 camouflage" did not match any products.

For heaven's sake, just tell us the name of the site in question.

You don't need to post a link.

It's extremely annoying when people post something about a site that obviously requires you to look for yourself to form a judgement and then get all coy about who it is.

Yes sorry about being coy, I am new to the site and didn't want to post something libelous :o.
Try looking at the reviews on Amazon for the following item. Samsonite Makemo 40H Digital Camera Case - Black

Best to cut and paste as there are similar items. I have double checked and thisdoes come up if you enter it in amazon's product search. I would really appriciate some feedback

I am a huge Amazon fan and would have assumed they would be able to spot obviously fake reviews.

    Thanks

Nothing massively untoward to my eyes there.

They turned down one I wrote because I mentioned the price of the item (which was clearly displayed on their web site). Subsequently when I write reviews I write spoof ones saying that a firm that cherry picks its reviews must be flaky in other things too .....etc.
But their price can and will change, leaving the price you mentioned in your review out of date. Prices really have no place in reviews.

I can't tell you the number of products I've been looking at, thought "that's a reasonable price", and then looked at the reviews and found somebody got it cheaper. What they paid should have no effect on my decision to buy, but it does.
This is everybody's fault but mine.

Are you talking about the reviewer that is reviewing both the products you mentioned? Livvy Couch Olivia?

I've only read two pages of her reviews and she has given five stars for most things LOL! She might be an easily satisfied customer??!

    Or not!

    Hi Vuvuzela,
At first look the reviews do look ok but one of the prolific reviewers almost exclusively reviews Hama's products. Hama's products include samsonite, Celestron, Sandisc, muse, TREADnet etc etc. You can look up Hama's product range on thier UK website.

If you have time please take a look and let me know what you think. :)
    Thanks

Most things she has given five stars to are "Hama"....

To be fair she did give a one star rating to the DVD the Duchess, which I would probably agree with but as for the rest????

    Well.........

I have to go all coy again here...... I don't want Amazon to ban me LOL

But the reviewer does seem to really like Hama's products (various brands but all Hama's products). If you pull up a list of Hama brands from their UK website you can see how nearly every single one of the reviewers reviews are Hama products
