Pay it forward! I posted someone's wallet through their door and have handed in many purses, bundles of cash (£80 lying on floor in Mr T's) etc and I hope it's karma but I've had my whole handbag handed in TWICE by people! All contents inside it! There are good people out there! X0

Is it a 123 card? It's worth it for the cashback it generates. The cashback on the 123 account is worthwhile if you have direct debits set up as it generates way more than the £2/month fee.
I was pretty sure MIL would stump up for the tattoo, but great news on the shares (and future "fee" for your help:rotfl:)What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

No, it's a 0% for 29 months deal I applied for. Hoping to be able to clear it within that time and then I'll be debt free :j:j XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Lucky so glad to hear you are reporting some good news! How lovely about the haircut - what a fabulous thing for someone to do! Amazing! And brilliant news about the 0% card 29 months is a VERY good deal. To complete the hat trick is MIL - paying for the tattoo and who are these people who have money they didn't know they had!!!!! Wish I was one of them! Genuinely really pleased for you all round. Fantastic.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Really lovely day today (if you erase the bit where DH had a mini meltdown ). Went to soft play but Grandma, Mum, Auntie and MIL came too and we had our usual coffee. Another cousin's 5 year old daughter was with us too, so DS2 was playing with her, and DS1 bumped into a school friend there so everyone was happy. It cost £13 to get in but Grandma gave me £10, MIL paid for the first round of drinks and Mum paid for the second, so a lovely cheap afternoon.
Afterwards we went to the cinema to see Mr Peabody and Sherman which was an absolutely brilliant film. It's not out until next week but they had a few advance screenings and we had a buy one get on free voucher for the boys. Because DH now has his CEA card to get me in for free as his carer, it meant that all 4 of us got in for the price of 2, so £15. Took sweets from the cupboard for the boys (still have loads from Christmas and DS2's birthday) and got 3 cans of pop for £1 from P0undl@nd before we went in, so kept it all as cheap as possible. I also spent £7 in McDonalds on the way home for the boy's tea as the film didn't finish until 7pm so they ate that in the car on the way home.
Only other spends today were £5 on 30 large eggs from the farm shop and £2.20 on fruit from a different greengrocers. Therein lies the tale of DH's meltdown. This morning we had full english breakfast for brunch. I made DH sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms and fried potato slices and I had the vegetarian version. We were stuffed full and therefore didn't have anything to eat at soft play. While we were walking around the shops before going to the cinema DH started getting really snappy and had a real go at the boys and then me over what appeared to be nothing. It was quite embarrassing. I pulled him on it and he said he was starving and needed something to eat as he'd only had branflakes all day . He wanted an apple, hence going in to the greengrocers (I bought other stuff too, it wasn't £2.20 just for an apple!!), and he was thoroughly miserable right up until we went in to watch the film. Thankfully he emerged a happier bunny having seen it.
AF has arrived in full force. I'm off to take paracetamol and go to bed I think XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Got the card through today and it has a £2300 limit. I wish the 2 and the 3 were the opposite way round as that would have covered everything I currently have on B@rcl@yc@rd, now I will have a balance left on it accruing interest. Will just have to throw all spare monies at it to get it paid off asap.
