I quite fancy that deal too. The play room for kids could come in useful if I can get a deal for DD too.

    It is sold out :(

Oh, that's a shame. But, it's definitely worth checking Gr0upon for deals
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Satchmo you Angel :A. That deal is perfect and close to where I work :T. I will book it (once I have declared that today has been a NSD :rotfl:).

Today has been a good day. Went to gym this morning and then one of the Mums from nursery had a group of us over to hers. She fed all 6 kids lunch and did tea and cakes for the Mums. I shared my cake with DS2 and another child :D. It was a lovely afternoon and we are going to make it a regular thing (hopefully it won't be my turn to have them all until the summer when I can chuck all the little darlings in the garden :p). Xx

  • A couple of days ago I saw a staff card lying on the ground outside Mr T's and went back into the shop to hand it in. I thought 'I would want someone to do the same if I lost mine'. Then we went to the gym and I found a bus pass lying in the carpark so I went back in to hand it in, thinking 'if it was mine I'd want it back'. These are just little things but DH said 'all the little good deeds add up, I'm sure you will be rewarded', and it made me think about Robin and her wonderful theories that one good deed deserves another.
Someone (who shall remain nameless unless they want to identify themselves!) has bought me a deal for a haircut :A:A. How AMAZING is that??!! I feel so humbled and grateful. In the spirit of 'paying it forward' I shall make a charitable donation to something close to this person. This is more affordable, because, as predicted, MIL is paying for the tattoo :j:j.

Talking about MIL, I helped her sell some shares yesterday. I went through all her accounts and discovered a LOT of money she didn't know she had :eek:. She said she will be giving me something when it all clears :D. I might get a new bra :T

Ooh, nearly forgot, got a PIN through for my new S@nt@nder credit card. They haven't actually told me I've been accepted, but I assume from that I have :T. Fingers crossed when the paperwork arrives that it's enough to transfer the full balance from B@rcl@yc@rd and we can keep all our debt at 0% until it's cleared.

I was at work last night so off tonight :j. Looking forward to a weekend with my 3 favourite boys! Feeling way more positive than this time last week, despite Aunt Flo being due any day.

Yay!!! good luck all round then Lucky - and yes doing good to others seems to engender good to yourself eventually
    Must use my stash up!
  • I might get a new bra :T

If you ever do find yourself 'in the money', check out Bravissimo - they start at a D cup and go up (and up and up). Not the cheapest, but at least there's a choice.

My AF has been sticking around since at least early November. Got a scan next week. I'm not in pain, but just stick of being tired due to heavy loss. Apparently, I was one week away from needing a blood transfusion. Just getting dressed in the morning can leave me gasping for breath. Such fun!
  • Thank you Knit Witch and JustAboutThere.

JAT, I have use Br@vissimo before and can't fault them (except for their prices!). Last time I found a make and size that suited, bought one bra from them instore, and then came home and bought the rest from eb@y at half the price. Might do that again as I haven't been measured properly for a while and I've been up and down in weight since then.

I sympathise with the AF thing. I know you've been through similar to me, and after I lost the twins in August and was anaemic, I've never felt so ill in my life. After that I didn't bleed for about 12 weeks and then bled forever. Think I'm finally on an even keel again, I sincerely hope you get sorted out too Xx
