Oh dear! But no weight loss is loads better than a significant gain. ;)

Why not? Probably too many of the wrong ones (could be a sign Aunt Flo is on her way though?).

  • Hi all,

Yesterday disappeared in a flurry of gym, parent's evening and having my Sis over for tea. All good stuff though.

This morning we started painting the hall :D and nipped to the farm shop, so spends for the day are £8 for eggs and fruit. I've also been to the Doctors and I'm having a blood test done tomorrow morning. She thinks I'm still anaemic and was horrified that the hospital only gave me a week's worth of iron tablets as she said I should have been given 3 months worth . The blood test will also hopefully rule out thyroid problems or anything else that may have stopped my period returning. Apart from that I have to discuss it with the gynaecologist at my appointment next week if still no period by then.

Still reckon you would have done better asking for the jabs, Lucky - does your GP know you're a vegetarian?
Wish you'd mentioned earlier that you only took iron for a week, as it's hardly surprising you are still struggling!
  • Yes Robin I told her I was veggie. She said she would ring me if the results show anything, so if I am still anaemic I will ask about the jabs, thanks. Bloods were done first thing this morning so if I'm lucky they will be back this afternoon, otherwise it will be Monday.
