Cheers Buffy! I need to my debt calculations for this month also. I have a feeling my head will hurt then too!!
If I'm honest, my head already hurts, I've woken up with a cold.
Can't go to the gym this morning. DS1 fell off his scooter when someone ran in to him on the way into school and bumped his head/skinned his knee. He was really upset so I agreed he could come back home after we dropped DS2 at nursery. I've given him calpol and he seems much better, but every time I mention taking him back to school he suddenly has a sore head again. I think he is pulling my leg!!!
DH is complaining of headaches again.

to all the headaches this morning - fake or otherwise!
Look after yourself pleaseWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
DS1 might be "copying" dad? But maybe he just needs lots of cuddles xxxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

I let DS1 stay off for the day but there is genuinely nothing wrong with him. As soon as it got past lunch time he made a miraculous recovery!!
I've done the debt calculation for this month and the balance has only reduced by about £4 overall on last month. This is for 2 reasons. One is that I haven't made many big overpayments this month as we needed the money for DS1's birthday, and the second is that fees have been applied for the 0% balance transfer I made. Although this has had a negative impact this month, it will really help reduce my totals going forward.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL
Followed you over from DFW's thread. I have subscribed.
Sorry to hear about everything you have been going through lately.
I can feel a connection with you already - I have a DH who sounds very similar to your DH.
My DH has a neurological problem (they are treating it as a form of migraine but we believe it is post-herpetic neuralgia caused by an eye infection that we now think was shingles but was not treated as this. The infection has gone down his optical nerve and has affected the nerves inside his head so he has had a type of headache for 2.5yrs). He suffers a lot from memory loss and at times the pain is so debilitating that he cannot get out of bed.
It can be frustrating but we just get on with it.
DH also has depression (from when he was a teenager) and his mental health veers between very very low and low - he has gone missing before and this is always a worry for me.
One comment you made about being a carer and no one caring for the carer is how I also feel.
My DH manages to work but he is very fixed in his way of thinking and will leave a job if he does not agree with things whereas I think if you have an easy job with good pay just put up and shut up.
He is working in a part time temp job that will end soon and is looking at other jobs but keeps applying for full time jobs which we won't be able to manage.
Hope you have a good weekend.0 -
Hi EE, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your story.
I'm really sorry to hear about your DH's condition and what you both go through on a daily basis. Big hugs from one carer to another.
I shall find your diary too. Xx
DH and DS1 have gone to a rock climbing centre this morning with DH's friend. They all used to go together before the accident and I was thrilled when his pal called yesterday to suggest it. Hoping it will give DH a boost as he's not quite been right recently.
This afternoon he has an MRI at the hospital.
I'm still loaded with cold. Really not sure I should go to work tonight but feel I have to after being off for 4 weeks. Will see how I feel later.
Did a pregnancy test as I'm over a week late for a normal cycle. I *think* it's negative but there is the tiniest faintest shadow of a line where the positive line would be. Kinda wishing I hadn't tested now as it was supposed to put my mind at rest and now I'm like eh?!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL
I have just finished reading your diary (all 131 wonderful pages:)) and just wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are!
Throughout your diary I feel like I have got you know you, not you the wife/mum/daughter/sister/employee...... but YOU, and i have to say that you the individual is pretty fantastic!:A
you have dealt with so much over the last couple of years and yet you always do so in a graceful manner, we all have bad mood moments but i do think that reading through this diary the very essence of you has shone through and i think you should buy some new knickers and wear them on the outside :rotfl:
anyway, you have made me look at my own life in a different way over the last week so i am going to go and look at my own debts now and kick this once and for all rather than falling off the wagon AGAIN
Good luck with weight loss, keep at it, i am also with SW and 1.5lb from target (just need to get out of the oh i so deserve this biscuit and get my head into it again)

OMG sydneybean, you really read 131 pages .
Thank you so much for your kind words :A. I fear you may have read someone else's diary and then posted on mine by accident. I am nothing special, but I am honoured to have inspired you and best of luck with the debtbusting.
Please stick around and keep posting. I will celebrate with you when you get to target. Think of the £5 per week saved as well! That will help you reduce your debts. We can swap recipe ideas too. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Not going to work tonight. I'm ill. More ill than a normal cold, but not flu. Just think it's knocked me more with not being 100% in the first place. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
