Belated happy birthday to you both, glad you enjoyed the days without any dramas. Make sure all birthday vouchers and money are spent on yourself and not the family( as most of us mums do),:)x

  • Hi everyone!!

I have survived the day but will be heading to bed after the xfactor end credits roll :o. DS2 was at a party today so after the shouty 8/9 year olds of the sleepover, I then endured screamy 3 & 4 year olds for 2 hours!! That's my punishment for being a b1tch the other day :rotfl:. We then met family for coffee and tonight went for an evening walk along the beach. How my boys had the energy for running and jumping of the pier I don't know after being up that late last night, but they are well and truly zonked out now!

    The peace is lovely Xx

  • Ha indeed Mummy! I pointed out to him at 7.30pm last night that he hadn't even said thank you to his Dad or I . Yet my 3 year old got a 'marvellous manners' award at nursery this week. I've taught them both the same. DS1 seems to have forgotten his lessons ....

Robin indeed I did sleep well and only woke when Ds2 did at 7am. DH needed a couple more hours apparently and didn't surface until 9am!!

That you for the birthday wishes pwps. I felt old yesterday when I completed an online survey and realised I was in the next age bracket category to normal!! :(

Well it's very wet and miserable here today. I pity the peeps doing the Great North Run today! I don't think we will venture very far, but I need to at least get cat food as I appear to have forgotten to buy some this week .

  • PLMBL re the sleepover for 16. I am quite laid back about that type of thing and agreed because DD was leaving primary school and wanted all her class to stay. They were 11 at the time. I might add NEVER AGAIN !! :rotfl:

  • Gee squiz MiT, you are way more brave than I am!

Popped into M&S earlier with a view to spending my vouchers on clothes, but nothing took my fancy enough to pay their prices. I don't know if I'm just tight these days or what, but £40 for a top seems extortionate. I'd like at least 2 for that price :p. Will have a trip to their outlet store this week I think and see what they have there.

I feel fat and frumpy. Too much birthday indulgence. Will be back on the diet properly this week and go back to the gym.

Prepped my old iPhone 4 to sell as well and MIL has given me her old one too (iPhone 3). Will do that tomorrow hopefully as the new one is due out on thurs I think, and the old ones will be worth less then.

  • I spent my M&S vouchers online and got it delivered free to local shop. I like their t shirts as the sleeves are a half sleeve and hide the bingo wings. I got lots for my money and t-shirts are so versatile that I get loads of wear from them and they wash fabulously x
