  • Thank you so much DFW, Buffy, Satchmo and Granny, you are all so lovely. What would I do without my friends in the box??!!

Spoke to DH as that was what had upset me most. Told him I didn't realise there was a limit to how down I was allowed to feel, and having been there for him through over 2 years of down days I was upset that he couldn't be understanding to me on the very few occassions I needed him to be. It's all down to his head injury/memory problems though and he isn't a bad or nasty guy so I can't be too annoyed at him. He was upset when I pointed out what he had done but credit to him, he didn't turn it all back on himself and listened to what I was saying. I saw something on the tv that said "carers always put themselves last and as a result no one carers for them". A bit dramatic but I can see what they mean.

Too much info but I had a very small amount of bleeding last night. In a normal cycle it would be a week early but I'm a bit comforted to see it, perhaps my outburst has been to do with fluctuating hormones.

Watched Strictly then xfactor last night and then went to bed at 9pm. Feel better/more positive today Xx

    Hi plmbl,huge hugs from me.

I completely agree with what everyone else has said. The best advice I was given when I lost mine was from a friend and she said to me that I should say to Mr P that I was going to run a bath and then to sit in it and bawl until I could no more. I did it a few times but it helped to let it all out as often as I needed.

And like Granny I too remember my other babies.

DH obviously is very caring, and has a rare gift of being able to listen when told to. Glad you managed to have a cleansing talk, and that you are feeling a little better. Take it easy, and warn him and your lovely boys that you'll be up and down for a while yet and the best cure is tea and hugs.

Well done to Connor for getting the most votes. I will wait with my breath baited to see what happens next.

Hope your positivity keeps on keeping on.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Thank you again everyone :A.

I'm pleased DH listened. He may not remember any of it but for those 10 minutes or so it made me feel better :rotfl:.

I do feel better although still emotional. I just watched a video one of my friends posted on facebook and bubbled over it. It was meant to be fun, a father and daughter's first dance at her wedding and they surprised the guests with a full on routine, but I cried over it!! I'm definitely not 'right'!

DH has gone out with his best friend to help him try to fix his garage roof. Best friend will be up on roof, DH will just be passing him things from ground level I am assured!! Debating on where to take the boys as it's a nice day here. My Mum is off on holiday (again!) today and MIL is out to lunch with her man friend so it's just the 3 of us.

  • Don't you just hate those bloody hormones. They turn us normal people into wrecks. In saying that I lost my baby over 20 years ago and when my Mum died last year I had the thought that she would see my baby before I did. I even felt envious. Crazy lol

  • Well done Connor! :jI really hope Michelle Heaton votes with the people, otherwise the whole public vote element seems a bit pointless. Having said that though, I bet he's thrilled to have come out on top. :)

I don't have much to add about the way you're feeling, everyone else has already said it and I can't say I know how you feel. Just take one day at a time and go easy on yourself, you've been through such a lot. xx

  • Cheers MiT and Fudgie! MiT I don't think that sounds crazy, it's all very emotional.

So we didn't end up going anywhere! The boys started playing with the girls from next door on their trampoline, and apart from popping in for lunch they played most of the day! It has therefore been a NSD :j.

Fudgie, I really hope Michelle just goes with the one in the top spot! I wouldn't like to have to chose between the 3 as they all deserve it, so I'd cop out with "because I can't choose, and they are all worthy winners, I'm going to go with the public's decision". I hope she does the same! However, tonight Connor has been more Little Toad than Little Hero .
