You probably heard - races were cancelled coz of the rain! They managed 2 laps and that was it! Absolutely chucked it down ALL day Saturday. Which is gutting coz it was blue skies all day Friday, and even yesterday was dry all day but cloudy (even better day for riding apparently!)

Thank you for the get well wishes, I'm sorry to report they haven't worked as my throat is extremely sore and I can barely swallow. I also have earache and this afternoon I had to have a nap as I felt so awful . I managed Beavers tonight but had to ask my parent helper to do most of the *ahem* shouting! I've got everything crossed I feel better tomorrow.

Pooh, I really wish I could have some of your oaty biscuits must admit I don't like fruit cake though . We had one layer of sponge cake on our wedding day so I could still have some!

HAW, yes I saw that re NW200. Your OH must've been gutted! DH was also devastated when Rossi crashed in the MotoGP yesterday too!

SA, I'm very proud of DH. I must admit I only agreed as they were running as part of a group and they had lots of paramedics at the run. I also wrote my mobile number as an emergency contact on his run number that was pinned to his t-shirt! We have previously been told that a seizure is less likely while exercising too.

Not a lot to report from today as I've been poorly. Collected DH's repeat prescription from dispensary at docs, helped MIL close down a savings acc online and open another, made tea and ran Beavers. Currently watching Skint (the programme not the person ) open mouthed as usual :eek:

Oh i've taped Skint will watch tomorrow with a cuppa I think I missed it last week but my friend filled me in on it and the wall?! lol

I hope you get some rest tomorrow and get some hot honey & lemon down ya throat always helps me I had it for my sore throat today and it's feeling slightly better but not completely gone. Also have headache this is week 4 of it now !!!

Just back from the docs - I've got tonsillitis Lay awake most of the night dribbling on my pillow (:o) because it was too sore to swallow and this morning I sounded like a Chinaman with a lisp so I gave in and went to docs. I'm on antibiotics 4 times a day for the next 10 days. The doc recoiled in horror when she looked in my mouth :eek:

Hope everyone else is feeling better today. I've cancelled my plans for today and I'm just going to curl up on the sofa.

Yup he was. He paid £20 or £25 for a seat to get drenched and watch the empty roads :rotfl:

OH missed the Moto coz we had to go pick up the girls. Rossi his fav too (I only know that coz we've 2 canvas prints hanging in the hallway )
