  • Monthly debt total time and as of today we owe £9804. This is a £180 reduction on last month which is less than usual, but we struggled with DH's ESA being wrong. The new amount was paid today so hopefully things will be easier now. That said, we have the car tax due and our little caravan holiday this month also, so the reduction in May could be less than brilliant too. Still heading in the right direction though :D.

  • Thats great.
Dont diss making a smaller payment, they are the ones which are toughest to pay sometimes and really help.

I'm afraid I don't know about the Nielsen app. Will look into it and report back. It's rained here today too so no great rush for shorts now in Newcastle either!!

HAW, thanks for the hug. I went a bit deranged last week :o Infact, lets call a spade a spade, I was proper psycho . I think it summed it up the other day when DH gave me a cuddle and I said "what are you after??!!". His reply was "not to get stabbed ...." :rotfl:

So today I've had DS2 to the doctor :(. We were getting ready for playgroup and he started crying and holding his bits. He'd been carrying a large plastic toy and I wasn't sure if he'd hurt himself with it, but inspection didn't show any injuries. He then sat rocking, still holding himself so I started to think 'water infection'. After a while he seemed totally fine so I took him to playgroup, albeit late, but asked them to call me if he didn't seem right. A couple of hours later they called and said he was holding himself again and had gone very pale and quiet :( His nappy was bone dry after several hours and he seemed frightened to wee so I took him to docs. Dr said no obvious physical signs of pain like swollen glands etc and gave me a kit to get a water sample from him. I'm to take the sample in the morning and drop it in to the health centre when they will then send it off to check for infection. However, in the hour or so before bed he was bouncing like he'd never been ill and had a heavy wet nappy. Not sure what to make of it all now! Calpol rocks though!!

Today has been a NSD :j Infact I'm up as I found a £1 coin :D. Sis has been for tea which was great, but we won't see her for about a month now as she goes on hols next week and then we are away when she gets back.

Hi P - £180 payment off debt in just one month is a very respectable amount. I'd be more than happy with this. You're doing better than you think. Hope the little fella is ok.
