Should i apologise to an Ex-boyfriend?

id just ignore the request and leave it in the past where it belongs0

I think it's got to be "forget about it".
Is this something that you think about from time to time, or just something that you've remembered since the friend request?
What bothers me is what you say to him.
"Sorry I two-timed you 13 years ago." Do you mean that? Does that mean that you are sorry that you got together with your now fiance and father of your children? Does that mean you wish you were still with this guy?
Now I'm guessing that you don't mean that, but when things are written with no sense of emotion they can be read the wrong way. Would he take it to mean that and pursue you again? Would your fiance or children take it like that and be upset?
No, I'd leave it well alone.
What does your finance think?
I guess if it comes up on conversation - e.g. he asks you what you're up to these days and you say you're with the guy you two timed him with then you could say something like "I guess I was a bit mean two-timing you. Should have dumped you first! Sorry about that." In context I think you can get away with that. But just coming out with it out of the blue I think would be very odd.
Probably easiest all round, however, just to unfriend him.
[I'm assuming that you don't regret getting with your now fiance instead of this guy!]0 -
Recently, an ex-boyfriend friend requested me on Facebook. Our relationship (if you could call it that) ended badly,
I'm not sure why you would accept the request. 13 years on, you're with someone, moved on....
If you want to apologize then do so and delete.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
I wouldnt have even accepted the request. The past is the past, no point in opening a potential can of worms, whats he doing, looking up all his old girlfriends cos he's lonely?0

I would have trouble even recalling the name of any boyfriends when I was 15 let alone anything else!0

I don't. His name was Paul and he was older than me.
There was another girl called Julie who had her eye on him but I got him. It was a matter of life and death.
(It wasn't really.....just an example of how dramatic we can all be at 15. :rotfl:)Herman - MP for all!

I agree:D Mine were all Spanish names so it could have been Jose, Pablo, Paco, Miguel, Juan:rotfl::rotfl:no idea.
I am sure your fiancee would not be too pleased, the past is long gone, ignore and be happy:D0 -
Let sleeping dogs lie..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I agree with the other posters, let it go. Maybe it's just my age but I think that adding exes on Facebook is incredibly disrespectful to your current partner, I know I wouldn't be happy if my husband had his ex-girlfriends on there. (He does have his ex-wife on there but so do I, we see her a lot because of the kids)
I don't have any of my exes on mine, they're exes for a reason!
"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
