Nah, as TG says if you buy something you must spend the total reimbursed amount but if you post a letter you dont but still get the full reimbursement. I always post a second class letter. Usually to myself but if it coincides with a birthday so much the better!

I'm fairly certain they will pay the total reimbursement no matter what you spend to be honest. Gap are usually pretty good about this. If they say a reimbursement thats what they pay even if you spend under.

No Ian told me when I did my first one that if for example you bought a pencil for 50p it would invalidate the job, if you are not posting a letter you have to spend the full reimbursement. This was last year so the brief might have changed but I just post a letter anyway, rather have the money!

    Quick question about MS...

Do they pay out on a schedule (i.e. 10th and 25th of each month)
    or after a job's completed?

It's been 10 days since I completed an assignment with no feedback from them regarding it.

Each company is different. Some pay once a month, some twice, and some typically 14 days after job. Which company are you waiting for? May be able to advise more fully for you for specific companies.

1st post gives some more information.

TG is right. There were always two types of jobs. The first is the proof of posting or spend up to £5 snd pay any way you like; for these you get back the full £5 reimbursement, no matter how much you spend (even if you spend nothing). The second type of job needs you to pay with a card (one of the specified cards) and you have to spend at least £5; for thes jobs you also get £5 reimbursed, but the assignment is invalid if you spend £4.99 or less.
