A little someone on here told me to tell Assosia their fee was too low for a job and they just dumped me full stop. I am no longer on their books, so be warned, it's not always best to say YOUR FEE IS TOO LOW AND I AM NOT DOING IT! Assosia is not all that to work for, but I did like the 50 packs of chocolate puddings I once got from them with one of their jobs. Boohoo.

PS. I applied for this job because it said it was a simple audit which would not take too long. When I got the paperwork it was rather confusing and would take about 3 hours to do!

ive turned down work from them without problem when theyve rang for being too low and told them why but not after first accepting jobs, maybe thats why they took that action
you did the right thing though if it wasnt worth it for you

that said Ive had some amazingly paid work from them the past few weeks one that i had to double check the fee with them before and was glad I did. It was fixed fee for the job (obviously) but based on an estimated full day and half work and I completed it and double checked it in 4 1/2 hours. Ill get the full fee obviously
so its not always the case everything is rubbish with them, unfortunately these are not the norm obviously but still worth sticking with them for.

the clients will dictate fees as much as the agency where they have a budget. some companies wont take the work, others will be happy to offer peanuts to us so they get a little slice of profit too.

people dont moan too much about abais department stores offering reimbursement but not enough to cover the minimum purchase, they are just as bad a low fees but as BUN has already started many companies dont want professionals and want "actual" shoppers who will be happy with a reduced price on something they may purchase anyhow

What's all this about wanting information on a missing person that didn't go missing till the following day?

How did Gap know someone was going to go missing? Have they done in a mystery shopper and are now bricking it?
  • I guess I take reimbursement only jobs when it suits and i can get somethingI actually want. They are few and far between for us blokes though...

There's a few that are worthwhile. did 2 of the Bare jewellery visits sold the items, after tax will be more than what a visit like this would expect to pay (thanks for the advice mimi). Got a Bare fashion shop this week, (Old Tennis player) BH won't be happy though as apparently I have more clothes than any man should. My response is 'I am not any man'...
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I used to do a lot of the jewellery ones but since I lost my wife I can't face them anymore as she collected them. I did a fashion shop for them one then realised that the cheapest item in the shop was half as much again as the reimbursement so never bothered again. Shame because the report was a doddle.
