I completely understand where you come from, I would assume they will change the question in a couple of waves time. Until then ask as if you are going on holiday and are unsure how best to check your balance. The normal question does scream 'Im a mystery shopper' Especially if your a regular and they know that you use online banking etc.

    Good luck pal.

Go with a different hairdo! LOL.

I'm past caring. The staff are normally rude and full of themselves and then become super friendly once you ask that question. Guess it's a bit like the burger shop and the floor shows.

I do say I'm going on holidays but the staff are usually quiet friendly and ask where I'm going and make small talk, I'm lucky they're friendly but because of the conversation I think they'd remember me, there really is only one branch out of the six I do where the staff are grumpy. I'm giving it a miss this month and hopefully next month there will be a new question.

Is anyone else getting more calls from Gap offering jobs with no premiums? They expected me to drive a 30 mile round trip for a burger with the incentive of a corner shop nearer home! Both jobs would only just about cover my petrol! Cheeky bleeders.. I then asked for the corner shop and they said yes...if you go and do the burger..
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Just had MF on the phone asking me to do a visit for them, even with the premium increased to what she could go to it wouldn't cover my petrol and I wouldn't want anything from the store in question, its normally reimbursement only.

Now do I take that job or spend the afternoon taking the little one out to the park?

Same here, I had 6(!) missed calls from them yesterday, when I finally picked up on their 7th attempt I was offered a job an hour away with no premium. I passed.

Hey all- can anyone doing the fizzy drink audits next week, be kind enough to PM me how many they're doing and their fee please? The reason I ask is that I am doing a fairly big circuit, and the fee seems to have really dropped since last time. When allocated, the fee was quoted as a lump sum, and not an amount per store, so I just wanted to compare what others are doing and what fees have been agreed, just so I can see if it's negotiable at all. Help appreciated! Thanks :-)

I've had 5 calls from 2 MSC's this weekend, neither of them gave me an offer worth shifting my backside off the sofa, a much more professional outfit emailed me on Saturday with double an already nice fee plus mileage at 24p/pm to do an urgent job Monday morning, which MSC do you think gets the job done...

Once the video kit has been bought MF and the like can swing.

Did anyone else get an email from ESA about the audits they are doing? Gosh, they do look complicated and the pay is not all that either. Don't think I will bother!

Are they the measuring and counting ones? If so, yes terrible pay!

I think I'm going the other way to be honest, I find myself looking at the fees and thinking "time spent playing with the baby is worth a LOT more than these people are offering me". I can't actually think of the last time I did an assignment.

Anyone else find this once kids came along?
