Quick question. Do you find that generally there are more jobs advertised at the start of the week and tail off thu/fri or do you find it more of an even stream?

I think very end/start of the month is probably more of a pattern of busyness than a weekly pattern. Although I think Mondays you might pick up urgent assignments that have been dropped over the weekend but the companies aren't in to sort them out til Monday.

Just signed up with them how ever have worked for many years with other ms companies.are they more lucrative than gap/re

I don't know if they're more lucrative but they have jobs that I prefer. Like I said I've only done one job for them, I don't even know if I did it to their standards yet because it was only submitted very recently. You do have to pay more out for their jobs than you do for most others.

Too many people to quote so I won't bother (!)

Finally - Superliss - please don't insult Robbie Savage - he has strong views, but knows what he is talking about when he speaks out

I do like Robbie, he gets under people's skin but does make extremely useful points. :)

Another quick question! With regards to Sassie quick supermarkets, apart from the two where I received an email query and sent a second copy of the receipt to the normal address, all my others are showing with 0 expenses.

Is everyone else also getting this? Not sure whether to flag it or just re-send all my receipt scans in to the normal route? And before someone sensibly suggests ringing them I'm after a canvas of thoughts here first and may do that but want to avoid seeming even more clueless if possible as these are my first jobs on the Sassie system and I've had a few probs already.

    Promise to thank all responses...

I sent an email regarding this 2 weeks ago they got back to me pretty quickly and said it was an oversight or some issue with the system and not to worry they would rectify and I would be paid my full reimbursement. I would send a query, just so they are aware it happened to you.

OMG. Sorry. I didn't know asking folk to hit the "thanks" button was a wrong thing to do (and I didn't mean just mine, all the others too). I'm really sorry it annoyed you so much "money savings my name", please feel free to block me so you don't have to read any more of my uncomfortable posts with my "diva like demands". But thanks so much for taking the time to post and telling me how you feel. I really do appreciate it, honest. I hope you don't mind "money savings my name" but I am going to alert one last time, forgive me if I upset you again!

I think that everyone should thank posts if they have benefited or simply want to thank a post. It is good manners. However, I don't think it's right to rant about people not thanking posts - it's in bad taste.
From what I have seen, most of the regulars in here contribute a lot and thank a lot. I for one am trying to follow this path.

If you had encouraged/reminded people to thank rather than chastise people that don't, I would have felt no need to comment.

    Moving swiftly on.......

NIM, how much extra did you manage to squeeze out of ESA for the electronic job? I phoned up and the woman just said no straight up.

Also, if anyone still has a smellie shop to do for RE/MF, think HUGO BOSS for a male with the free gift. The free gift has been selling on eBay for between £25 and £50, so you get all the money back you spent (obviously you pay tax on the eBay sale), with the reimbursement from RE/MF which makes the aftershave absolutely free. If the mos is not very clued up, they will let you have free gift with a 30ml purchase instead of a 50ml! Woohoo.

Got the fee doubled. Just point out that its been sat there for a while and that the fee offered is in no way representative of the work involved. I've had 3 sitting around up here for over 2 weeks now with the deadlines being extended all the time.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Tried that and got told no straight away. She said the fee had increased by a few quid since yesterday. I might call again and hope it's the guy who picks up, he normally just says yes.
