I'd echo what others have said - parts aren't really a problem.
Back to the OP - the 2.0 KV6 petrol (which is what it is) does not suffer head gasket failure like the k-series does so its ok on that front.
The ridiculous cost comes when the cambelt needs changing, its £400+!! If its just been done you could buy the car and run it into the ground but if it needs doing soon leave it alone. It'll be thirsty too.0
