Can't get to the shops til thursday, so she's still on boiled eggs ATM
I checked her this morning, if you look really closely, you can see her feathers are starting to grow back. I'm surprised it worked so quickly.
Just went to watch a recorded program from last night and realised I'd put the old PIN in. Tried 0000 and it didn't work, it gave me a warning that if I got it wrong again it'd be locked. Tried 1234 while saying "please please PLEASE!!" and it worked. Just as well, mr tru wouldn't be happy if I'd locked him out of his fave programs and he had to spend an hour on the phone getting it sorted

Hi All,
Gentle hugs for those with achey/broken/just plain knackered bods, you have my sympathy as I too am very stifff & achey, but am just taking it easy whilst the heavens water the garden
DP took the two bigger dogs out early this morning but old boy was not interested & stayed in bed with me,
if it stops raining I will take him out with my scooter later for a gentle stroll.
Dinner tonight is lo roast beef with jacket spuds & coleslaw, expect the boys will have beans & cheese as well. Am hoping to summon up enough energy to make some twinks & muffins whilst the oven is on as the tins are empty again. Mr T delivering later including growbags for my tomato plants so they will be potted up tomorrow along with the chillies & peppers.
Hope everyone has an easy day,
Hugs & spoons all round x

Just had to tell you all, Guess what happened to me last night?
My DD came over to sleep saying she had the dentist today (she's having wisdom teeth taken out) she brought DGD with her.She told me a parcel was coming between 8 and 9pm. When the doorbell went at 8.30 and I answered it, there stood my DS and his fiancee, all the way from Cumbria, as a surprise for my birthday! I haven't seen them since DD's wedding in August. They are staying till the weekend, then we are taking them home and staying in the Lake District, possibly going on to York afterwards.:T
All the family was in on it except me, Even OH who said on Sunday "I think this week is going to be a good one!" I was talking to DS on Sunday night, and he told me they had been cleaning all day, I know why now! :rotfl:
They are taking me to lunch tomorrow. I am so happy, all my babies back home!:TI Believe in saving money!!!:T

Afternoon all
I'm home from work already, shhhh
. Work kids worked really hard on their presentation today, there was no point in keeping them any longer so sent them off and came home. I've got some work to do from home for an hour or so, so I'm not completely skiving!

Fantastic surprise Hilstep! Have a good time.
Evening All
Work this morning, dentist at lunchtime as I had toothache last week. I expected him to have a look and call me back but he did root treatment straight away! Had to go back to work totally traumatised with a numb mouth!
Went swimming on the way home and I swear someone has filled the pool with treacle, it was such hard work.
Anyway, chorizo risotto for tea and some knitting later I think.
Hugs to those feeling poorly/down. Take care. XX0 -
