There are a few people who don't even have TV's but signed the forms only later to find the TV sales goon falsified the statements.
Now because of this they will be prosecuted and fined even though no laws have been broken.
The fact is the BBC sales goons have strict targets to hit or loose their job and commission so a lot of them do lie and thus break the law,
Take a look at what happened to this poor women,

Until Mum passed away and was out of the home for a couple of weeks due to being in a Nursing Home because of her age it was free. I don't like not being able to afford the TV but I dare not use it until I know that I can afford it.
I'm even worried about paying the electric and gas bill, its like an ice box in here...
You can still watch "catchup" TV which isn't live but in the mean time I strongly recommend you have zero communication with the BBC because they do have a habit of setting people up.......................as the link above shows that poor women didn't even own a TV but they had her!0 -
@ Jimmy
I admit nothing here.
This was part of the tactics they used, trying to get internet postings admitted as 'evidence'.
To answer one question.
No it was not part of the 'plan' to get convicted in Magistrates, they ignored the most compelling evidence entirely and convicted me on 'circumstatial evidence' on instructions from the Clerk of the Court.
When I said I was going to appeal his sphincter was heard performing sub-sonic contractions... there was NO WAY an UNBIASED bench would have convicted.
He seemed most worried that I was going to appeal on 'case stated', but I went for a re-trial.
Safordian was right in that I was trying to get them off my back once and for all... all the nonsense that the BBC posse's spout about 'Just co-operate..TVL are decent people really..only trying to do a decent job..no 'presumtion of guilt' sir..no never'... all RUBBISH.
Fact is .... if you dont pay 'tribute'... they will hound you unmercifully.
Again for Jimmy I sent you part one.... as a 'newbie' I cant post for another hour.. the whole message was too long.
Yes Shakey, the BBC DS Posse (several on here now) come the old "Get in touch with TVL & life will be wonderful" BS -It is the standard Fishbone brainwashing - there is one sure fire proven over many years, method of dealing with BBC Capita: No communication with the scum ever - they just have no answer at all to that method.0 -

The fact that I really have no idea whether or not you watch/record live TV.
I'm torn 50/50.
You will be compelled under Law to aquit then sir, 'Im torn 50/50.' reasonable doubt then sir.
This was a private prosecution by a private company, remember that too sir.
Summons...what summons....YOU would have had the good sense not to send one sir.0 -

So are you also claiming that anyone that doesn't agree with you is a BBC employee or something?
Some people have time to spend online (I tend to post during the hated ad break, or when i'm waiting for something to happen/finish), and find it interesting to debate stuff, and also think it's sometimes helpful to point out that one persons view is not necessarily shared by everyone.
I do the same when I have good service from companies sometimes, I'll post praising them if they've gone above the expected level* (and in the case of the anti TVL posters the expected level seems to be that the TVL are some sort of huge conspiracy that deliberately sets out to pervert the course of justice and frame up anyone and everyone),
When I contacted them in 2003 I was a bit wary after all the horror stories I'd heard, they couldn't have been less painful or more helpful with my query (and yes I have a TVL now), and have passed on the information they gave me a number of times since - usually to help people NOT pay the licence when they haven't needed to (clearing up the old myth that you need a licence if you have a TV).
So I'm either part of some conspiracy.
Or someone with a different view to some.
I would offer to post my bank statements, except
A: They have personal information I don't want to give out to anyone I don't have to.
B: It wouldn't do any good, as the reply would be that I'm obviously not using my own bank statements, or I'm using a statement from a different account of ine (or that I'm being paid through some third party:p)
*For example I've praised Amazon in the past for their assistance sorting out an order, I've done the same for a couple of US retailers, and hardware companies who when I had items that required a recall/replacement, asked for proof of destruction of the item, rather than for me to return it (having to pay postage and waiting for it to get back to them before they sent out a replacement).0 -

Your paranoia is showing, again.
Yes the BBC almost certainly do have PR reps working on social media.
Who do you think replies to things like their twitter feeds, email complaints and queries, moderates any websites they run that allow comments, let alone things like their facebook pages?
I'll give you a tiny clue.
It generally won't be senior staff unless there is a specific need.
They certainly wouldn't be posting it openly if they wanted to do it without anyone noticing.
The guy I got a response from 9 years ago was probably classed as a PR rep (PR = Public relations = in it's simplest form, anyone who interactions with the public in a role that isn't covered by a more specific job title).0 -

There are identities on Digital Spy - not one person, as no-one person could keep it up, day in, day out worshiping the BBC's biased sewage outporings, thay are obviously being paid to counter any critisisum of the BBC & it's outdated TVL - Fishborn Hedges openly admit to monitoring & interacting with blog & forum users - the same many times repeated statement of "a five min phone call sorted out my TVL problem" for example is an obvious classic! The evidence that Digital spy has been taken over by BBC sypathisers is overwelming. A thread such as this, on DS would have been pulled long ago by Tom - thankfully, not all forums are riddled with BBC censorship - as Digital spy certainly is.
Your expression: Your paranoia is showing, again is a typical Posse saying, accusing someone with a different view of their own as Paranoid......I rest my case Nilrem0 -
They have got you banged to rights Nilrem, admit you are a sleeper BBC mole in our midst....--
