Wireless Connection problems

Hi first thing I checked is firewall its same one on all pcs, just this one will go on net, I can see pc screen form another pc through a virtual pc program but can I hell us get it to see any other pc, or share folder, printers I done the wizard thing numeros times, it use to work but now it wont. I have security oc pc and ist right password and I also use mac address on router whichs allows that pc to work.

Post the exact error shown when you try to view the Shared Documents folder on the other computer in Windows Explorer.

Temporarily disable the firewall on both computers. Then on both: Start - Run - cmd - OK. In the command window that's just opened find out the IP address by entering:

ipconfig

ping the other machine's IP address by typing:

ping w.x.y.z

e.g. ping 192.168.0.2

You should get 4 replies back. Try also:

ping computerName

where computerName is the name of the other computer.
