FB that's not on, I hope you get an earlier appointment.

    Afternoon All

Back to school today, it's like we've never been away. Head still causing problems and general morale very low. Went to see the Physio after work about my back. They think it's been a muscle strain but will have me back for an appt in about 8-10 weeks! I have some exercises to do in the meantime.

Off to a meeting later, just had chilli for tea, a bit hot but tasty all the same.

Hugs to all, esp Jarvo, Cariad and good to see you PP. Take care. XX

    :rotfl::rotfl:Hello all,

Been to see mum and she was a bit brighter, took her some home made banana loaf (still warm from the oven - yum). Still hoping for a move to the local hospital, smaller, friendlier and better food (apparently ;)) The staff where she is are good but it is such a busy place. Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and wishes for mum, I do appreciate it very much.

OS wise, apart from the banana loaf, I have made smoked mackerel pate which we had for luch with toast, and some lemon curd - really yum! :rotfl:I also washed, line dried, ironed and delivered back to hospital mum's pj's and undies.

DH off today so he tackled the front garden which now looks lovely, my seeds have started sprouting and need potting on but will have to wait until the end of the week. Another kitchen planner called and the first one rang while he was here, I felt like I was cheating on him with the other one!!!:rotfl:

Off to rehear some LO lasagne for tea, prob with chips and salad to eke it out.

Big hugs to all who want/need them,

    Jan x
  • Hi Guys!

Hospital went as well as expected. Had dinner later today which was very tasty and followed it with tinned rice pudding and peaches. Odd, but at least 2 more tins of stuff used.

Sold 2 items on Ebay today for £36, so very pleased with that.

Im not stopping long as i need to do my bloods and would love an early night as shattered. Joints very painful atm but wondering if we're in for heavy rain?

*Nods in agreement* My knees hurt like anything tonight, so rain wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Pleasant dreams, PenPin; I hope you can get that early night you're after.;)

    Evening all,

Dry here to-day but windy and very cold....3 machine loads of washing done and line dried so very happy with that....some of the heavier things need a night on airer but everything is lovely and soft.

Dinner to-day was connor fish ( I don't know either, brother was given it by someone) large fish, baked for 25 mins with lemon inside, was very nice, would certainly eat it again, DGS2 said that it was 'delicious' and asked for more, did mange tout, mash and green beans with it so a very satisfactory dinner all round....have told brother to accept all donations in future, free is a great price for nice fish!

Have finished the 625 squares of blanket for DD1....they are attached as you go so not as finicky as it seems, am now doing border and will then tackle the weaving in of ends...took longer than I expected so will be one of a kind for now.

Cariad....glad to hear that mother is ok, hope that they move her soon.

Jarvo....ouch! Had a fall some weeks ago and its still painful ....Reiki friend reckons I should go to doc as she thinks I may have chipped a bone...but can't even imagine what your pain is like....

Garden could do with some rain but no sign of any...they keep promising but nothing so far, didn't venture out to-day as was too cold.

Hugs to all in need or want of one, keep warm and stay safe.

Taplord is also complaining of very painful knees tonight.

Had a busy day at work but came home to tea cooked by DH:T he doesn't do this often so it was a nice treat - oven cooked fish and chips so nothing special but it always tastes lovely if you havent had to cook it yourself.:)

2 loads of washing dry, dogs walked their usual 2 miles not its feet up, wheat bag on my lap and a nice fleecy blanket over m legs and a bit of telly:)

    take care all x x
