Shouldn't your grandson be paying for his own licence? In fact shouldn't he be taking care of all of this?
Holding his hand, paying for everything and doing it all for him is going to teach him absolutely nothing, he'll learn nothing and will become a 40 something year old who has to go to mummy and daddy to ask them how to fill out forms if you continue in this vein.
Whilst I understand that as a grandparent you feel you should, he's an adult and is supposed to be reponsible for his own actions and the consequences and for sorting out the subsequent mess. By all means offer advice but then leave him to get on with it.0 -
he does most things himself but he is away on training course mon till friday and dvla is closed when he is able to use phone, i was only helping him anyway just to let all the people who tried to help me the dvla have unrevoked the licence for 2 weeks till they find the licence as he gave the the recorded number and they no now that its somewhere in swansea dvla, that will save him having to buy a new licence, thank you to all who tried to help0
