The rest of us seem to notice them well enough, but then we probably drive more carefully than you, and keep our eyes open;)0 -
I get the feeling we have a troll, how on earth could anyone forget some of the most basic rules of the road even if you haven't driven for 5 years.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

I've never seen a genuine 10mph speed restriction on a public road
Never mind two
Add misreading the speed limit signs to your list of misdeeds! To be fair you will make mistakes after not driving so long, but the way to help with this is to take a refresher lesson.
Either the OP was lost on an industrial estate OR Tesco's car park OR they forgot that the standard residential speed limit is 30mph and had a 5 mile long queue of very angry drivers behind them........ :rotfl:“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

There are a lot of 20mph zones but I've never seen a 10mph limit on a public road.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Me either, but there's a housing estate around here, full of bungalows and apparently a lot of people who think the speed limit is 10mph (when they get in their car to drive 200yrds to the nearest shop and back).“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Post the location of these two 10mph residential roads you say you encountered - it's easily checked on Street View!
Put up or shut up, driving noob!0 -
To be honest, after not driving for so long I dont think people should be allowed back on the road without refresher lessons.
I have an Aunt that has had a license for 40 years and hasnt driven at all in that time, it scares the hell out of me thinking that she could go a buy a range rover or something stupid like that and drive around not having a clue..Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
