So happy to get it through the post. Even though I've been driivng for 3 weeks, to have a piece of paper with you name on saying you're the registered keeper makes it so official!!
Though this is the first time I'm driving after 5 years of passing, and I forgot some of the basic rules, also the nervousness has made me miss some of the one way traffic signs.
I vaguely rememebr being flashed once, but not sure if it was me or someone else.
The yellow criss cross (no stopping) box on more than one occasion, and I'm not sure if I have racked up a fine for that.
I'm not sure if you get fined for going down a one way, but if you do then I may have got a ticket (we got CCTV like crazy around here).
So is there any way I can find out whether I have racked up these fines while the DVLA had the previous owners details on their system.
I'm aware that if you pay early you get a discount, but if you delay it could double. So I'm worried that the fines may have been sent to the previous owner and by the time they old owner sends the tickets back and says "I was not the owner when these violations happend" and then the parking control resends the tickets to me. I might have missed the early bird discount period.

Do you think that you might need some refresher lessons before you get behind the wheel and drive danderously again?0
-
You really should consider a refresher lesson or at least looking at the copy of the highway code before going on the road again. Driving down one-way streets the wrong way is dangerous.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0

yeah I'm reading up on the highway code, but a couple of fines will fix the problem once and for all I think.
It wasn't so dangerous, both times were in quiet residential areas where the speed limit is 10mph. The council has put one way rounds everywhere so it's hard to find your way around if you're not familiar with the roads. Also the one way roads aren't so obvious.0 -

I suspect they will. They'll either make your insurance so expensive you won't be able to afford to drive, or they'll add up to 12 points, and you'll be taken off the road.0 -

Never mind two
Add misreading the speed limit signs to your list of misdeeds! To be fair you will make mistakes after not driving so long, but the way to help with this is to take a refresher lesson.0 -
Wont be long before they will get another 12 month break from driving.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
