Hello teatime!
Thank you, you have no idea how relieved I am!! £15k is going to be a long slog, but this is my first real achievement.
And I have really long hair - once it got down to my waist I felt like I had no choice ha! If it was in any particular style I wouldn't have risked it2019 Aim: Save £10,000

I'm actually crying - how ridiculous!
So, work finally paid me and the joint account overdraft is paid off, including the interest they're going to take out in a couple of weeks. No more hassle-full phone calls from the bank and no more ex's debt hanging over my head...

The first of many victories - I CAN DO THIS!
Off to a freebie theatre show tonight to celebrate
And also a :j to the sort-of BF becoming a BF0 -
Thank you Hovel lady!
So this is my 2nd NSD in a row - I really don't know when I did that last :j Baby steps, but I'm learning!!
I've printed off my Dwell voucher so going to look at some point for any little bits and pieces (candlesticks, photo frames etc) I can give as pressies.
Long day at work tomorrow so going to watch The Apprentice then head for bed. Got to get up extra early so I can vote, then after work heading to Mr T's to try and get some evening whoopsies - this MSE thing is kind of addictive, isn't it2019 Aim: Save £10,000

So, this week has been amazing:
- was taken out to the cinema by my grovelling (and now official) BF
- two of my friends landed really good auditions. They should hear back this week - fingers crossed!
- Had a great, if long, week at work. Even squeezed in a day off!
- Managed to catch up with all the family - a minor miracle...
- My parents are friends again
- Notched up 3 NSDs
- Stayed green on my Weekly Spend Challenge
- GOT RID OF THE JOINT ACCOUNT OVERDRAFT!!!
- Entertained a bunch of fantastic kids at a party today, and got a £40 tip at the end of it!
Oh blimey, now I'm crying again! Such a sap...2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Ohhh how exciting new bf....and well done for the NSD's and clearing the joint overdraft.
Meanwhile in my world I'm trying to get rid of a bf but can't.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Scubaangel - I had one like that once, had to be really horrible just so he would get the message
I'm so sorry you're having BF problems :grouphug:
Hovel lady - thank you! :beer:2019 Aim: Save £10,000

I've woken up this morning with a stinking cold, sneezing away!! Which is great because I'm on a promo job all day
hope I don't sneeze over the British public!!
Another company is a week late in paying me - time to shift over the last bit in the savings account - trouble is that's not even my money, it's set aside for a bill:eek: I hate having so many jobs sometimes and being mostly self-employed, everyone's paying me late :mad:2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Still have the cold *cough cough splutter sneeze on an unfortunate*, still haven't been paid. Chased it up yesterday, apparently they were taking the weekend off - that's fine, but I sent the invoice last TUESDAY
Have a day off today, so it's chores ahoy! Been to the doctors, got my prescription, registered at the library, checked my bank balance, done the washing. All boring stuff BUT this afternoon I'm off to see a friend in a matinee in the West End for free :j then gonna check out a new fitness class for free :jmight start running it next week, so I need to know what I'm letting myself in for ha!
Have a lot of stuff to do still, but I keep getting distracted by MSE :money:2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Hope you feel better and you get paid very soon.
