Does anyone know how easy it is to get a £50 payday loan from Wonga and is it safe?
Ive had some problems with credit being sent back to me from BT and i only have £20 left until the end of the month and its my sons 1st birthday next week.
I have his presents but no card and no money to do something on his birthday as what i have left is needed for food.
I need money before Tuesday next week, just £50 would be enough and when i get my credit back into my account in a weeks time i can pay it back straight away.
Any advice?

!!!!!! he is one and cannot read and therefore does not need a card- and I seriously doubt he actually knows it is his birthday, he won't care what happens on the day.0

Yeah - he's 1,he won't know,or care if you're late with his birthday present.
Don't use a PDL.
Wait until you get some money, give him his presnt, then save some money so you never get into this situation again.
You may not like the advice but it's free.
Good Luck

Hi
I have found Wonga very easy to borrow from with less than perfect credit rating. However Their interest is HUGE and it is very easy to get into the habit of borrowing on a regular basis therefore constantly giving them more and more money. They are Loan Sharks and it took me a while to come to my senses and not use them anymore.

Make him a card. In any event what sort of card costs £50?Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

Yes its nice that your planning for his birthday but seriously he isnt going to know its his birthday as he's only 1. Do some odd jobs for neighbours for some cash in hand like some gardening or something else and use that money with the £20 to use on food, even if it means you eat beans on toast for the 17 days.0 -

Take back some of the presents so that you have more money for food for the rest of the month - your son won't mind (or even notice).loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
He may not understand but the fact is its his birthday!
Who doesn't celebrate their child's 1st birthday? its a big thing!
The money isn't just for a card, as i said i want to take him somewhere on his birthday. We never go anywhere due to only having one income between 2 adults and a child, so i thought it would be nice.
Its not like i cant pay it back.0 -
I was in a similar situation a few weeks ago my daughters 20th birthday. I had to explain to her that I would give her her birthday money 3 weeks late (felt very guilty) purely because I had to pay Wonga what I owed them. When I weighed up the situation it brought me to my senses and am determined to NEVER use PDLs again.

Its £50 and i can pay them back in a weeks time when my credit is back in my account.
If id of had the money i would have spent it on his birthday anyway.
Is this really such a bad idea?0 -
