  • Hi. Sorry to jump in but does anyone have the email address to send these 2 proofs of I'd to? Thanks sarah
  • Equifax are terrible. Noddle and Experian are by far the best going.

That doesn't say much considering that these are the only options available.

You can get an Equifax sub for half price when you sign up and then cancel. This is the cheapest way to get alerts because Experian's latest subscription hike is strictly for mugs. If you don't need or want alerts, just use Noddle and occasionally get your £2 statutory reports from Experian and Equifax

I find the alerts on Equifax are rarely worth reporting. They alert you for when a search has been deleted but every search gets deleted after 1 year so you get a constant stream of pointless alerts that waste your time and make it more likely that the one you actually did want to know about gets missed

When did the price of Equifax monthly subscription go up to £8.99? I thought it was £6.99. I don't want to be a cheapskate, but I might cancel this now. Almost ten quid is too much.

Hi all . just spent a bit of time trying to get a copy of my credit report from equifax . Registered as a new member , put in all my details etc etc , then put in payment details and on the last screen it asks me to phone up their call centre with a unique number (..) I am wondering has anyone else had this problem in the past.

It took me 50 mins to get through! 50 mins. Luckily I was using the 0207 number. While waiting I looked up comments on the internet and came across this

    reviewcentre .com /reviews103313.html#Reviews

Worst reviews imaginable. Really like MSE but advice to use this service makes me dubious! I did not activate my account either.

Oh god. I'm going to ring them tomorrow to cancel my free trial. I hope it gets sorted all right now I've read all this. All I wanted to do was check that my report was ok.

I've got through in 2 mins recently and there weren't any communication issues. 3 are much worse. I can't understand half of what they say, to the point where it's embarrassing

If you have a subscription, use the secure messages to get stuff done. They normally turn it around in 1-2 weeks. No need to call most of the time in my experience

Does anyone know how long it takes equifax to reply? I contacted them through here on Sunday to get something on my credit report changed, 4 working days later and still no reply.

You may get a quicker response just calling them on 01274 759759 and ask to speak to an advisor in the UK.
