Warning - Lidl don't take Mastercard :(

Took my prepaid Mastercard into Lidl as my new way of keeping to my spending is to transfer my housekeeping to it, only to find they don't accept 'credit cards' :( Apparently they accept Meastro, but no Mastercard.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Lidl have never accepted credit cards since they opened in UK, 18 years ago.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Anyone remember back in the day when John Lews and M&S didn't take credit cards?

Certainly M & S, staff acted as if I had committed a heinous crime when I tried to pay by credit card.

I don't know if any of you have heard of the Jesus Army? It's a big Christian organisation based in Northamptonshire. They own several business one of which is a building materials supplier, I phoned them once to ask the price of something and when I asked if they accepted credit cards they said "no we don't believe in them". As I hung up I thought you may not believe in them but they do exist all the same.:rotfl:
