    Bye. .
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

Israel has much better nuclear arms, I'm not too worried about this conflict reaching the UK before both sides have obliterated each other.

That said it would be a tragic event if either side started to use nuclear weapons as neither Iran or Israel would hold back in using them in retaliation.

What can anyone do though, Irans centrifuges are now being built so deep they're immune to even nuclear retaliation.

From an investment standpoint I dont think you can really avoid it, it will have far reaching consequences, its part of the risk of equities.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

For all the rhetoric and posturing that goes on, it's unlikely that any state in the world would be the first to use nuclear weapons. The US did so in WWII and have been in shock ever since about the devastation it caused. It's more likely that group/s of dissident nutcases somewhere would use them if they could get their hands on them. But even the roguest of rogue states would beware of enabling that, because they know that the retribution on them would be terrible and permanent. Even though gangster regime and terrorist leaders are able to find brainwashed morons to do their bidding for them, resulting in their own demise, the leaders themselves are no so keen on making the ultimate sacrifice. Why else did that cowardly toe-rag bin Laden hide away so carefully for so long ?

But if there were a nuclear conflagration somewhere, let alone in the Middle East, there's no point in worrying about whether to be in equities or cash. Everything would collapse.
No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

But if there were a significant nuclear conflagration somewhere, let alone in the Middle East, there's no point in worrying about whether to be in equities or cash. Everything would collapse.

I've been spending some time chopping up firewood.
