I think we should all email the other seller asking why they have used someone else's listing!Oh dear, here we go again.0

Only reason I haven't given full details is I think it's against the rules as it sends people to my own auction.
Her auction states that item is from a pet and smoke free household, mine doesn't as I am guilty of both!
Just taken photo's of my dog and a pack of cigarettes, so if anyone can advise me of how to change the photo's without them coming up in my auction aswell I would be very grateful!
if the other person has saved the photos to their own computer and then uploaded them to Ebay, there is nothing you can do that will change theirs...
only if you have them on an outside host, and they are using the same link..but then yours would also change.0 -
I have just emailed her and asked her a question:
"Hi,
I am interested in the above item. Are all the pictures of the exact item? Eg, box etc?
Many thanks."
Wonder what she will say.0 -
becky004 wrote:I have a 10 day auction going that ends Sunday night, not of huge value (currently 7 bids @£7.00).
Checked my item today are only 4 others listed, a 3 day auction ending Saturday afternoon was added yesterday. This person has used my entire listing! Item title, description and my photographs!!
I contacted them and politely asked them to remove my photographs and alter their listing, as they didn't ask my permission to use my photo's. Within 2minutes I had a reply back.
"Well do I have your permission then. I know I should of asked, will remove them if you wish"
I asked that they remove them 1 because they're response was hardly apologetic 2 because I took ages making sure I had good pictures to display the item at it's best and 3 as my auction is still running and ends after theirs, it looks like I am the one that has stolen their entire listing, and as ours are the only 2 of the 4 that are identical items, it could potentially make bidders wary of my item.
Anyway 2 hours later nothing has been changed, I have reported it to ebay but are they likely to do anything and if so when? Their item has 1 bid at 99p.
I generally put a watermark on my pictures but I haven't been selling long enough to see if it works or not!0 -
I would have thought you would, replace the photo on the listing and then re list your photos correctly, I think that would work, but no computer wizzThe sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0

if the other person has saved the pictures to their own computer, then uploaded them to ebay, they cant be changed by the OP changing theirs...0 -
The same thing happened to me, Somebody used my pictures and description so I reported their item to ebay and their item was cancelled as they were breaching copyright of my picture.0

I've just sent her this email:
Hi. Can you tell me if this is the actual item I would receive please? The photos seem to be identical to those on an older listing by another seller. Thanks.
I'm looking forward to her reply.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
