Stolen listing what can I do?

I have a 10 day auction going that ends Sunday night, not of huge value (currently 7 bids @£7.00).
Checked my item today are only 4 others listed, a 3 day auction ending Saturday afternoon was added yesterday. This person has used my entire listing! Item title, description and my photographs!!
I contacted them and politely asked them to remove my photographs and alter their listing, as they didn't ask my permission to use my photo's. Within 2minutes I had a reply back.
"Well do I have your permission then. I know I should of asked, will remove them if you wish"
I asked that they remove them 1 because they're response was hardly apologetic 2 because I took ages making sure I had good pictures to display the item at it's best and 3 as my auction is still running and ends after theirs, it looks like I am the one that has stolen their entire listing, and as ours are the only 2 of the 4 that are identical items, it could potentially make bidders wary of my item.
Anyway 2 hours later nothing has been changed, I have reported it to ebay but are they likely to do anything and if so when? Their item has 1 bid at 99p.

I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

As you have reported it, that's the only thing you can do.
You could post up the item number, and let us all report it too? eBay will probably remove the listing, but when and if they get to it in time ... that's a whole new question ... lol.0 -

Ebay will only accept a complaint report from the person who has had their listing/photo copied...0 -
To be honest, it happens all the time. It has happened to me and there is no point stressing over it.0

The only bit that's really stressing me is that my listing is the next but one to hers and is the only item of the 4 listed that is identical. As her auction ends before mine it looks like I am the listing photo/stealer and people will assume that my item is not what they will receive and they won't bid. She has even stolen the photo of the item with the items packed in tissue paper in the box!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

get your friends to bid silly amounts on theirs, naughty but it would work0

Would it be permitted for me to put in my listing in bold red letters "these are the actual photo's of the actual item you will receive, mrs xxxxxxx has stolen these photo's and is using them in her listing".
Or is that not allowed?I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't have any friends!
On a serious note I wouldn't do that as I don't want any of my friends getting into trouble on my behalf!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

That IS annoying. Especially as hers ends before yours. Maybe you could put a little note on your auction stating that someone has stolen your listing?
