Thanks! Both were easy! I just kept the cake table to all lovely pastel colours (Used pinterest to show people what I wanted) and collected bits and pieces as I went along. I bought some of the desserts, made some and had some supplied. I also bought various glass dishes in the right styles etc and had already been given the stand for making someones cake.
The blog was easy too - I just mentioned on an article they ran about the hotel we married in that we had married there the week before. The lady from the blog then got in touch and said she wanted to feature us. Easy.
I can give you the photographers details too, should you want them! She has surpassed herself with them I think!

Thanks Megan, I have a photographer sorted. She's an old friend/former work colleague - not (usually) a wedding photographer by trade, but has snapped a few famous peeps along the way. I'm calling her our celebrity photographer!0

No toppers here! I hate them! Just personal choice
So you are not weird MsShopper, and your cake is way too pretty to need any other adornment
Our cake is going to be a plain iced M&S job, possibly with fresh flowers between the tiers and on top. Like in this blog post but more bohemian flowers: http://www.littlemisswedding.co.uk/real-life-weddings/vintage-wedding-tea-party/

I can see why, so sweet. I like that style a lot - if we had held our reception in a marquee (Original plan) we would have had something like this!May GC - £100 per week
