At Christmas I bought my nephew a superman t-shirt, then whilst wrapping it up realised that the security tag was still on it, as we were due to exchange presents that afternoon Mr Welshy had a go at removing it. What a nightmare that was and it left a hole luckily on the seam which I managed to stitch up.

In my experience , no they won't, as you could have stolen it, go and buy an identical one, take your tagged one back with that receipt, then take the second one back for your refund....you can do it all in one visit.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

On the clothing theme - I have been chosen to be in the audience of a new talent TV show which is being filmed a week today ........ with Ant and Dec hosting and one of the judges is Simon Cowell.
anyway, during my clothing spree today DD1 chose an outift to wear which included sparkly shoes, she has just tried it on and it looks lovely. Now I just have to work out what I am wearing.
Thanks Mr T - DD1 is delighted with her freebies today

My lovely pink cashmere jumper doesnt fit  its a size 14 and is tiny will have to take it back for an exchange for £25 of something else....
and just looked at all dd;s clothes and my lovely normal cashier has left the security tag on  it wouldnt bother me but he did it on another pice and the thing bleeped she only took the one off the jumper off though as the others sisnt bleep when going through the security thing. The thing is ive thrown my reciept away  will they just take the tag off for me?
Don't worry, this happened to me over Christmas whilst away in Stafford. I mislaid my receipt, took them back but they took the tags off no questions asked. Real shop lifters have the heavy duty magnets to take the tags off. We could have got them off but as I had PAID did not want the coats damaged. Honestly they will not think you've stolen the stuff.0 -

I used blue coupons £26 blue coupons £25, all lilac £10, £7, £5, 2 x £6 lilac 2 x £6 quit - making a whopping £37 profit, also got loads of toiletries today used 6 book tokens and other manufacturers coupons ( all can be claimed back by tescos) plus h n b and quits. I had a similar experience  I bought OH a longsleeved Tshirt before Xmas and found the tag still on it just before wrapping it. Had a right wrestle to get the horrid thing off, tried pliers and other instruments from OHs toolbox and did get it off, but left quite a hole in the cuff. Thank goodness men are not as observant as women  , he never noticed and wears it lots!🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -

You'll only need the £10 for the time it takes you to exchange it, and re the reply from kronen about "just take it back, they wont think you are a shoplifter"....well, kronen might have got away with it, but it depends on whether you approach one of the many "wasp chewing" cs staff.............do it the safe way.....as i know it doesnt always happen as suggested.Couponing....."every little hurts"
