I'm a self employed musician and have been virtually all my working life - I suppose I could have selected 'ad hoc', but I selected self employed, which is lumped together with retired/homemaker etc., i.e. people who don't work to earn money anymore.0

Dont get paid at all.0

I put every 4 weeks, but its the 22nd of each month, unless its the weekend and then its the Friday before the 22nd.0

Four weekly so at least you know you have those four weeks till it comes round again but it can be a bit difficuly with bills as both me & my husband are paid on the same day four weekly from two different supermarkets so no cross over when it has all gone on rent etc :eek:0

I get paid on 22nd of every month but have answered 3rd week on poll. I absolutely hate it.
I want my wages/salary in cash, after deductions, each week - that's the way it used to always be. We were never in debt. I despise the banks having so much power over our earnings.
I would love to start a 'cause' about this. Also, I wonder whether I could insist on my salary being paid directly to me rather than to the banks? After all, it is my earnings.0 -
unusually both myself & my OH still get paid weekly! Its so much easier to budget for bills
I would hate to go back to monthly pay as I always said "there's too much month left at the end of the money"!!

My OH gets paid 4 weekly on Friday, except in March when he gets one lot split into 2 (something to do with the tax year we think). He gets DLA 4 weekly on a Tuesday. I get paid on 26th monthly, except July & Dec when it's the last day of term (I work in a school). Child Benefit is 4 weekly on a Monday, Tax credit weekly on a Tuesday. Oh for the days when all our income came in on the same day!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts

I temp through an agency. Work weeks run Mon-Sun and we're paid on the following Friday.
When I've had permanent jobs I've always been paid on the 28th of each calendar month.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
I get paid on the 25th of the month (earlier if it falls on a weekend or bank holiday). OH gets paid every 4 weeks which is a bit of pain because it causes problems when budgeting.Operation House Move £11993.60/£25000 (47% achieved)
