    Car Insurance Carver! Cashback Cashier
    Hi,

I think it comes with just central locking, but not remote (so you can lock all the doors automatically while you are in the car, but you don't get a key fob thingy to do it from a distance if that makes sense.)

If you bought it for the DealDriver price of £5954 which is what I have been quoted, there is no reason why in 2 years time you shouldn't be able to sell it for a similar amount, as that price is £1,443 off the list price! (£7,400 full price.) That's assuming it had low mileage (eg, 10k miles per year, so 20k miles) full Ford service history, in great condition with no scratches etc.
I'm sure £5,500 would be a reasonable amount if it was in great nick and well maintained. This is what I actually want to do with my new Ka - keep it for 3 years while the warranty stands then sell it!!

Obviously you'd get a lot less px, it might be worth selling privately as dealers/traders will knock at least a grand off. That's why I'm selling mine myself - it's being fixed as we speak!

£5,500 is totally unrealistic for a car that's £7k new and widely available with a large discount - sorry.

However I think £4,250 privately and £3,500 p/x would be realistic - so you'd still be getting away with two years' motoring for £800 in depreciation per year, which is very good for a new car.

I was thinking it would be worth about £4k as over that people will consider buying the basic model brand new for £5k with warranty.
