    Afternoon all

Sorry you're going through such a hard time bossymoo, I can't begin to imagine what it's like :(

I've done all the bedrooms today and, best of all, got two loads of washing dry on the line.

Got a banging headache, I can't believe after all my computer fretting there were 8 Windows updates to worry about today and then a flash player one! Messing with my mind. Done now though.

    Lies down.

Have got through quite a lot in the last couple of days, today at the expense of the dog walk although it has been raining ice cubes on and off today. Just the kitchen that really needs a thorough clean, my least favourite job.

Thanks for all your lovely helpful comments guys! (hugs back)

I will keep a few things, his Barcelona footy shirt being one. And some extras for teddy making. His mum is doing a scrapbook for the tots of his younger years, and I have a matching one to do from the time we met. Luckily I have hoarded a few things. I kept a lolly he gave me on our first date so that will go in the treasure box with a label.

Hmm. Someone at nursery has decided it would be ok to give dd a soya yoghurt, despite there being a big sign up in the kitchen stating she is dairy and soya free. They said she'd had some new pudding today, and she had the most almighty nappy when we got home, so I rang to ask what happened and why. Hopefully she won't suffer tonight. The manager called me back very apologetic. They've been good about it, and I've been reasonable but it can't happen again. Grr. Never mind.

More floating than flying here but wm just finished...

Bossymoo huge hugs for you. I wish AnWs mum was posting, I think more than anyone she understands what you are going through. ETA Also flowertotmum (I think - sincere apologies if I am wrong, it has been a while) and mumto4 who are stuck in limbo with brain damaged DH's and more than anyone would understand

DW done first thing this morning but that is it. Is it bed time yet? I think the stress of the last month (worst of my career!) has taken its toll!

Well I never touched the landing.. I lost an hour to sleep .. not a good sign.. I then fed everyone and Dot and I have 15 minutes before they are banished to bed so I doubt I'll get much done or even if it is worth starting.. that said.. it is bit of an obstacle course so I should try..

  • Have given up all thoughts of lists until term starts next week, but did shift all the ironing, and got on with my first frog which was lurking beneath - the dreaded denim patching.

Best wishes to all those who have suffered tragedies.

    Evening

back from the day job and its so weird, noone here. Just missed DS going out who's starting a new casual job learning bar work so he wont be in until v late and DH has sent me loads of texts saying what a fabulous time he's having (not :rotfl:) looking after 2 teenage girls in the caravan. They apparently have cost him a fortune so far as he keeps giving in to their [STRIKE]needs[/STRIKE] wants just to shut them up. So far he's laid out for DVD's, Pringles (several tubes), bottles of coke, a 3 day leisure club membership, portions of chips (of which there were apparently 5 in a portion that cost £2.50) and thats just for starters. Of course then he's had to cook for them as well, beans on toast for lunch and half pound burgers for tea :rotfl:. More fool him for suggesting it to her.

Anyway what have I done apart from stew because the ******* big computer that I thought I would use so that I can cut and paste listys from is not playing ball and takes about 20 mins to load each page, er well not a lot. Couple of cuppas and a scone when I came in from work couple of hours TV and then another cuppa and a piece of cake for my tea. Well it would be such a waste of energy to cook for myself :o.

Right I am going to see if this will submit without losing it and will then spend a couple of hours sorting paperwork as I cannot even dare to look at the list for fear of PC crashing.

Hugs to bossymoo and yes its a shame AnW's mum isnt posting as she would understand 100%. to AnW's mum and A and W just in case they are lurking anywhere x

I managed a 45 minute fling on the landing.. it is possible to go to bed without breaking myself now!

I have filled the gap under the table and got 2 huge boxes on top of the wardrobe.

Photographs of crap to sell done while Dot is merrily bouncing in her anti gravity module (jumperoo!!) just uploading pics for listing.. I will have some space back.. I have added to charity bag 5.. must send boys with them tomorrow!

have been dealing with major frogs today - a month of chaos/shoving stuff out of the way means that paperwork has slipped. Have dealt with lots. Been to Mr T.

    Evening everyone!

Hope you all had a good day.

Hugs to Bossymoo. I'm so sorry for your loss and can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through.

Welcome to Highflyer. I haven't been posting on this group long but it has really helped to focus me and make a huge impact on my home.

Today started so well and then we had some unexpected visitors who left about an hour ago:

I can't tell you how embarrassed I am at the state of my skirting boards :o. To think people had been in my house and seen those !

We will definitely be around the house tomorrow. My 2 boys have had a jam packed Easter holidays. Out every day doing fun things and the tiredness is kicking in. I'm looking forward to my first day ticking all of my list off.
