dont think so, you are allowed more than one account as long as none of them have been suspended...0 -
That's what i thought.
Although hopefully their other one will be suspended soon. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
i would also leave follow up feed back and mention their other account with 18 negs
Also yes you can have mulipule accounts so long as you have a different reqistered card for each"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Thanks for the replies. I see sillytilly1972 has redsponded to my negative feedback with some nonsense about me wanting Special Delivery for free. I want to respond to that by revealing that he is/was djjonbond. Would this be allowed....if it is, how do I reply(follow-up).
For those that may be interested I have had another message from another third party saying:
Hi
I was interested to see your feedback for sillytilly1972. I am in a dispute situation, along with about 40 others, over a trader called djjonbond. I purchased 4 pairs of GHDs for £400 in January and he cashed the cheque and then said they were lost in the post. The problem was he has said this to about 40 people - all the items lost in the post sent at different times to different people all over the country!!!! After some investigation by one of the others we have found out that he has closed his previous trading site and is now trading under this new name. We have a police case pending with him co-ordinated through Humberside police, but there are forces all over the country collecting evidence against him. We have made eBay aware that he is now trading under a new name and wonder whether you have or could complain to them about thim. Basically he needs stopping at all costs!!
If you want to contact me direct my name is P** E**** email ********@virgin.net
Thanks
Can someone please tell me the protocol for lodging a complaint against this idiot (sillytilly1972/djjonbond)?0 -

You don't really have a valid complaint - although he tried to screw you for a couple of extra quid, you didn't pay, and haven't lost out. I don't think the police will take you seriously... but try to report him to ebay. I couldn't find an appropriate category to report him for, but maybe livehelp can help?My TV is broken!

I am one of the main people who has been conned by djjonbond. To lodge a complaint you need to look go into My eBay, look on the far left hand side and at the bottom of the first box you will see 'Dispute Console'. Follow the links through entering the relevant information.
We have made eBay aware that following him closing the feedback for djjonbond as there were so many negative comments, he simply set up another site sillytilly1972. It appears that he has continued with his dishonest practises. They however, do not seem interested enough to do something about it quickly to stop other people being duped. I went on live chat this afternoon and the guy I spoke to was so off-hand it was unbelievable. However, hopefully the police will stop him - I have offered to be a witness in court!!0 -
OP - report here:

Apparently there are a bunch of nifty new tools in the 'Contact Us' section. My TV is broken!

To the original poster, I hope you can bring the offenders to eBay's attention asap to hopefully stop others losing their money - and be thankful you didn't part with any money. I wish those of you who have lost money to these kinds of traders all the best in recovering your money. It's a shame some people ruin what is generally a good and honest site imho.
Perhaps the people who have paid and been conned should contact one another if possible and allow their police forces to act together with the evidence you each provide against the trader to bring about more urgency with a more thorough picture of their trading operation?0 -
At least you did not pay - that is some concelation! This happened to me once ..I researched and found a Hong Kong seller with about 5 usernames - all with disputes - I gace EBay all the info but they did nothing:mad:
On a lighter note...I am feeling realy old as I have never heard of Duck and Cover !!!!:oI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

The investigation against djjonbond is being co-ordinated by Humberside Police. They have requested all local forces collect statements from affected parties around the country, and that this is then sent to them. I will post the eventual outcome.
Thanks anyway 'callmelinda' for the suggestion.0
