Seller has added £2 to postage costs after auction ends.

  • Is this a child's top? For postage to cost anywhere near £5, it would have to weigh over a kilogram when packed. Is this likely?
Even if you think that's plausible, you're quite right to stick to your guns. If a seller accidentally undercharges for postage (and I've done it myself), that's their problem, not yours.

    Hi again,

Did you not see djjonbond's 15 negs in the last month? Why risk getting into a squabble with someone who has clearly lost the plot.

His feedback is private, so you can't see what other problems buyers have had with him. I would never buy from someone with private feedback. Was it like that when you made your bid?

    Oz.
The OP mentioned they bought it from an apparent newbie, and only found out after winning the auction that the seller is aka djjonbond.

When I bid on the item, I presumed it was a newby ebayer. It was only when I won the item that a third party member contacted me with suspicions that this was djjonbond. Here is the third party message to me earlier:
    Thanks for replying!
I was just curious because im curently involved in a dispute with the Bonds for some GHDs that are "lost in the post" along with about 50 others! They were trading as djjonbond but put their feedback private,so could not sell under this I anymore! Up until recently, they did have good feedback, so i dont really know whats going on, my case is in the hands of Humberside police who are investigating it all.Im also awaiting a refund hopefully through ebay. good luck! H

The name and address that the third party gave me matched the details sent by the sellers. Here's what he was selling but not delivering.

smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
  • Hopefully your neg and subsequent -1 feedback will put these scammers out of business.

It's luck that other bidders warned you before you paid up. Shouldn't someone complain to ebay or warn the people bidding on Sillytilly's other items? I'd hate to see another 50 people ripped off!

Long long long time reader, first time poster :)

I have contacted the top bidders for the 5 top auctions on this page.

Its not really enough though as of course other people will bid instead...but Ebay won't let me send any more for 24 hours.

I wouldn't ever touch a listing of someone who isn't intelligent enough to turn caps lock off, your pretty much guaranteed to not have a smooth transaction

Can we report the seller for having two accounts?
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
